  1. Sounds like you have done all the standard checks. Is it an old machine it is being used on. Couple of things i can think it maybe. - If its cabled loose connection somewhere, causing the mouse to power cycle so the machine keeps checking it as new hardware. - Your USB port may not being powering it correctly. Have you got a seperate set of ports you could try it on. hmmm, sounds like im saying it may have something to do with power.
  2. Im running 245's on 9.5" +35 offset rears with rolled arches. Talk to baldy about arches being rolled.
  3. Thats the last time i ride a segway at a disused test track.
  4. I need to know what the guinea pigs have been up to I'm guessing schools know what they are up to, what age range is it for?
  5. Well just an update, had my interview today. I think it went well, but well enough i am not sure. They have another day of interviews tomorrow and said they would know what they are doing by Monday at the latest. Looks like a fantastic place to work. Oh, and the point of this post, is just to say thanks to all of those who have responded with tips and help, took it all on board and certainly made me prepared.
  6. Good work. Looks good, top job and clearly a lot of work gone into it.
  7. I'd say go with a windows 7 machine. 2GB of RAM, should take care of most software that you will want to run on it. Advantage of win7 is you get the windows media centre, which is a surprisgly good DVR/Media viewer, which makes for a good big TV experience if you have got an extender (like an xbox).
  8. Struggling to keep mine on the road. think the next 2 months are gonna be expensive MOT due soon.
  9. lol, no black and white with an addiction to fish food flakes(I have some strange pets). Its currently sniffing around a trap I set.

  13. Podcasts or Engine, most of the time. Bit of prodigy when i fancy a play.
  14. Very much so. Just embarrassed he had to spend longer taking the wheels off than he did rolling the arches.
  15. First of all sorry for the delay at Posting this Baldy, and thanks again for all your work. So recently got myself some beautiful wheels of a fellow member, which really suit the car. But with the offset and the tyres I put on they were catching the arches pretty badly. A few pm's later, the solution was found and I arranged to take my car(very carefully) to Baldy in Crawley. First thing of note, is that rolling the arches does not take long at all. Second thing of note, is that when you get new wheels put on your car, take it to somewhere that has an understanding of car wheels. So I get the car to "Autobody Solutions", and Baldy starts to take the wheel nuts off. Seems we have a problem. Some of the wheel nuts would not more. It seems that the place I had the wheels put on did not know that they should put some type of copper slip on the nuts(I had no idea this should be done either so I never asked/checked). So very carefully and slowly and with the use of plenty of lube Baldy managed to get the nuts off. unfortunately it seemed that the damage had been done. It seems some of the wheels studs have been damaged. Baldy did his best to re-tap the bolts and studs, but some where to far gone. Anyway forget that as I have new studs on order and need new discs all around so they will get sorted soon. As for the arches, the job involved attaching one of these. And very carefully, roll, adjust, roll, adjust.... until you get left with Thankfully the paint handled all this pretty well, and Baldy touched it up with a very fine brush so there is next to no visible sign. Again top work. Couple of pics of the damaged studs And now the car. p.s. Boot polish on black plastic seems to work nicely before polish.
  16. Cant believe its going in today. Good luck, hope it all bolts on as planned.

  19. Has taken a long time to come back, but the company i sent this CV to has come back and offered me an interview, yay! Nervous and excited. So my next question how do I prepare for an interview?
  20. At last mate, your missus has got the whole spare room back . Looking forward to this, going to be a great example of a powerful Supra. Would love to get some video of it when you get a chance.
  21. I'm on sky, and although i have to say my connection has been awful for the last couple of weeks, it does not seem to be connected to my use of p2p. Might be worth having a check over your cables and checking in the config of your router for its connected up and downstream connection speed.
  22. Hi welcome. Where abouts in west sussex are you?
