2. aww man, missed ya, i was there for ages so was probably stuck in the queue getting another coffee. Whats an Levoc auto shifter? Next meet that will be any good is in October for souped-up sunday, so maybe we can get a few more to turn up before a lot of the guys lock the cars up for winter. Have got some pics and videos from the day will post up later.
3. Unless you change your name or address, you should be good upto the expiry date on your license.
4. If you look at the face of the card, its the date in section 4b. The pics have to renewed every 10years.
5. I didnt even realise that the pic expired! So had a bit of a panic, but mine is not until next year.
6. An old thread, but just checked mine, as i completely forgot that the photos on these cards expire.
7. top work, looking forward to seeing the finish you get. Only just realised you have got Lambo doors, at least it will mean you can get out the car in tight spaces

10. Congrats. Your doing well, i run a Prometric test site down south a few times a month so seen people pass and fail, the ones that always pass are the people going for the full MCDST qualification as they are not focusing there learning to much. Keep it up.
11. Excellent, thank you. Looks like i need a complete redesign. I have not even put anything about my personal life.
12. Yeah, im clearly putting too much in writing and need to work out what are my key strengths/experiences that are going to be relevant. Just going to print out a copy and get a red pen.
13. Thanks for the offers guys, i will take you up on them . I am just going through the whole thing myself again, just to see if i can see any waffling that is not needed.
14. Size 3 font is not going to cut it is it? back to the editing board. At least i have something with everything in so i guess i can cut it down to suit any job that comes up.
15. Funny enough going for an IT job. I guess i will try have to make sure i highlight the parts where my experience matches what they are asking for.
16. Hi all, Just seen a job advertised that i would be silly not to put a CV in for. My CV is a few years out of date so I have just been updating with my latest details and jobs. Problem is i think its reading a little bit to long(just hit 4 pages so probably far to long). Problem is i think my experience suits me perfectly for this job but having trouble getting this down. Any employers out there, have any pet hate's that make you throw out a CV straight away? or anybody have and advice in general about CV presentation? many thanks Alex
17. Good work. But really, is this just an elaborate advert for Hammerite products, in which case its still good but needs more discount offers.
18. Ever have the issue when you are coming up to a set of traffic lights and you cant pick a lane as you don't want to be stuck behind the slow car? Well I was stumped on this occasion.
19. Just thought i would pop in as i heard there was a mob forming! Regarding opening post. Ouch!
20. I have held many roles in IT over the years, one of the most boring is first line support, but it is a great way to learn how IT works in business. As everybody is trying to cut costs at the moment you will find that a lot of helpdesks are aiming for good first lines fixes so you should get some good experience. If you have not worked in the industry before it is also a great way to sharpen your skills. Just silly things like juggling all the passwords you will be given and discovering the many different ways to support computers remotely. As part of my current role I run a Prometric test centre, i see so many people getting the qualifications but still struggling to get work due to lack of experience. Good luck looking and although i never enjoyed 1st line work it did give me some good skills.
21. Now thats a tempting offer. But wife would kill me, wonder if she would notice the difference No i must stop. Still beautiful car, good luck with the sale.
