  1. Are these still the first Friday of the month? So the next is 7th March?
  2. Haha! My bonnet is different to yours! And my mirrors are staying standard
  3. It's funny, when I bought the car I loved the gunmetal colour, but I'm not that keen on it any more. Although I have a feeling mine has had a bad respray in the past, so it might just be the condition of my paint that has put me off. Anyway, it'll be sorted soon enough!
  4. So I need another bonnet. The one that's fitted is apparently dented and would be better off replaced than repaired. I wish I noticed that sooner! Wanted thread here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?303833
  5. I am... I know that's not allowed with a gunmetal car! But I'm 90% sure it's staying grey of some sort. So not too far different. And I know the combination has been done several times before, but it's effective and I like it. There are some aspects of my build that, as far as I know, have never been done before, so it won't be the same
  6. The bonnet is gone! Back to standard J-Spec. The bumper is gone too, but replaced by another DoLuck.
  7. I know, I know! They served a purpose though... successfully! They were never meant to look pretty, just pass an MOT. Which they did!
  8. Having first enquired about this nearly two years ago, I've finally got round to getting my Supra in for some work. I'm quite excited! This is pretty much what it looked like when I bought it. The wheels were white but not for long. This is how it looked after I collected a few parts. And of course, the famous 'cut up shampoo bottles, string and repeaters from a Micra' side repeaters! They passed the MOT, which was their purpose! I drove around with it looking like this for far too long! Thankfully it's not my daily drive so I had another option. Work is being done by Xquisite Automotive. Progress pictures to follow...
  9. Sorry for taking forever to reply... but thank you very much! I particularly like the part where you feature... Also... at 7:18 there is a suspiciously pink-shirted chap hanging from a window.
  10. I seem to recall that was in the 2011 full video... which I can't find on YouTube anymore. Only the trailer seems to be there. Has the full video been taken down? Does anyone have a copy? It'd be good to keep for the memories! Scott??
  11. This idea crossed my mind the other day when I looked at the FT-1. I'm not sure if it'd look good or just plain crap. My main concern is how you'd make the tops look tidy where they meet the roof. Although I must admit it doesn't look too bad in that picture.
  12. Nice pictures! Whose is the silver Supra, far right of the very first picture?
  13. Can someone stick a link up to the hotel in Ashford? I don't want to be billy no mates at the wrong hotel for the night!!
  14. That second one is outrageous! "as u can see the car looks stunning"
  15. Kilps

    What a mess!

This could end up being a very interesting project
  16. You want that noise?! Bloody annoying I'd say...
  17. Shiny paint and shiny headlights... very nice! Looks like a good job.
  18. I'll be fitting skirts at the end of the year so if you've had no luck by then I might have some for sale (assuming they come off undamaged).
  19. Gorgeous car! Mine's waiting for a load of body work and this has got me all excited! (Not like that!)
  20. You'll have a job finding an eight or nine year old Supra... Other than that, go for it. You'll love it. And the rear seats are fit for nothing but children, although I'm not sure you'll get child seats in there (someone will be along to correct me on this in a few seconds, I'm sure...) Edit: I'm not sure if I'd give up a 645 for one though. That will be a lot more comfortable for family trips and generally more comfortable on the motorway I should think. Depends what your priorities are.
