    ECU options

Hmmm why did this make me think of porn lol
  2. AFAIK it was rally driver Ciaran King
  3. Fair play man. This is something i might do, so i'll be keeping an eye on this thread
  4. There's a few alright, only really come out in the summer though lol. But in fairness the are getting scarce. There was 6 (that i knew off) within 10 miles of me a few years ago but now i only know of mine and 1 more, but now i feel special lol.
  5. Need to get an exhaust bought for my NCT (30 mins a year) grrrr so i can get to this. Might make a start on getting it taxed/tested ect for the summer months/days what ever we get.
  6. I'm thinking about putting uk plates back on my supra. I have garage insurance so that part won't effect me. The price of tax here is a joke.
  7. I wouldn't bother with super spark coil packs, new Toyota coil packs will be fine.
  8. Just noticed this now, over to facebook i go
  9. Just read auto express & the man in charge of the GT86 admits there will be a new supra (page 23 left side article). This is why he's not keen to turbo/supercharge the 86.
  10. Hmmm that's strange it would be sluggish as if anything it should be better than texaco. I tried a few different places with the evoscan & the evo much prefered the e5 but then again cars are funny with fuel, just a shame shell pulled out from ireland. If your worried about knock though you could try running lucas octain booster which gets good results.
  11. Just use maxol e5, they claim 99 octain with it. I always use this with the supra & the old evo 7. I have evo scan & plugged it into the evo with the maxol fuel, drove the nuts out of it & kept an eye on the live data & it was 100%. It also had an octain counter on evo scan which read 100% i think on a really hot day in top gear & full load it went to 99% then back up.
  12. Very nice mate. What are the seats from?
  13. I'll give this a go, maybe hit it with a hammer for being a nuisance lol.
  14. Just as i feared lol. Thanks for your help, i shall start looking.
  15. When this fault occurs do you get anything else failing ect other than the fault codes? My speedo died & i'm getting the same fault code & was thinking speed converter but want to check all possibilities.
  16. Cool mate. Tell me what size of a thing is this converter, would it be wallet size or alarm fob size ect?
  17. I don't know what is on my TT but at any meets nothing else comes near it for noise.
  18. Anyone have any idea where to start looking? Wheel sensors, behind dash, ecu conections or will it be more than likely the speed converter thing? Is there a way of testing these speed converters?
  19. Has your speedo stopped working? I have the same problem, it means you have a problem with your speed sensor or speed converter thing. I'm trying to find out what to look for first before ripping apart my dash again.
  20. Don't say that, i do keep poison down in the garage so hope that keeps them out the car. I have been pulling it out the garage when ever i need more space for more cars when i'm working but it would only be out & in the garage.
  21. The Supra has been parked up for the best part of a year & i took it out last week as it was to be my wedding car & to my disgust it had a missfire as the 2nd turbo came in. So i took it for another drive today & the speedo isn't working now (it was fine the other day) & i'm getting code 42. Now i've searched & all i can find is faulty speed converters but i've had the car over 7 years with no problems & the converter was done before i bought it. Is there any thing i can check before i go buying a new converter & ripping out the old one only in hope it is the fault?
  22. Haha i'm a boob. I googled it & thought why are they calling them s2k, i'm using the time as an excuse
