Hi & welcome. With insurance just best to dig out all the adverts of the the car magazines like EVO, use Confused.com etc and see what you can find insurance wise.... Just be sure tread carefully and remember you have nothing to prove, enjoy the car, don't ruin it.

    Supra service

AFR as well.... Both are listed in the traders section of the website.
  5. Price wise I'd assume similar prices as todays Corvettes but i'm sure they'll sell more with that styling alone. Its about time Sports cars started to look striking again!

    Who do you use?

To be honest I'd say for a reputable garage, do be willing to travel as many will not quite fully understand the car or be able to diagnose faults correctly.
  7. I used own a manual performance cars like BMW M5, Quattro 20V Turbo etc etc. In recent years I've had automatics such as the Jaguar XKR, Volvo C70 and 996T and now the Supra. I have to admit, with the Supra having the oldest gearbox, its actually holding its own against the newer cars and its a joy to use, very sharp and and precise, nice gear ratios, good reliability etc. I find auto's generally quicker and effortless on the roads. Had the 996T on a trackday and never even took it out of 'D'! I never even have to take any of my auto's out of 'D' even when pressing on some nice roads I enjoy the bike! As others have said, if track days coupled with big power are your intention a manual would give you that few extra % on track.
  8. The advert also states 'no returns accepted', I'd be wary of this incase issues arise surrounding the wrong set being accidently sent out, issues over the units themselves etc etc..... IMO, better off buying from somewhere like Garagewhifbitz (see our traders section) where you can be sure you will get a quality product + customer service.
  9. Adrian Flux tend to be better than most where new/young drivers with performance cars are concerned. To be honest its just a case of shopping round...

    turbo

welcome.... do you own a supra, just like them or looking to buy one?
  11. Just tried this, its much more bareable, many thanks!
  12. Thats what I want, just the annoying sounds off when composing text messages etc
  13. mine different to that one, but I still tried adjusting via the volume control to no avail. Thanks anyway, was worth a try.

    Sad times :(

thats still quite an impact based on the damage, hard luck..... hope the insuarnce claim goes OK etc. I have found these days you have to cater for everyone else's negligence and lack of common sense.
  15. Unfortunately clucthes are one o those items that can wear in no time with varied forms of misuse and also it doesn't help if the garage that fits it, doesn't fit it correctly which will again cause premature wear. Best of luck for 2010
  16. Many thanks. Can't find it in my owners manual and also had a search through the FAQ's on http://www.samsungmobile.com to no avail. I do not know if the keystroke sound is always on and unable to be turned off or if there is an option to switch it off. Just asking as its very loud and comes across rude when you're in a group of people trying to send a text or check something.
  17. I have the Samsung Tocco Ultra, anyone know how to turn off the keystroke sound as I cannot find the option to do so anywhere on the phone?

    R34 from Supra Pod

    welcome, nice car.

    Is this a Blitz?

As others have said, genuine Blitz exhausts will always have the brand stamped on the tail pipe and it will be very easy and clear to see.
  20. In N/A engines higher octane fuels may help give a very minor increase with regards to a sharper throttle response but thats all. Higher octance fuels are not worth it on N/A engine, but turbo engines tend to thrive and perform their best on them.
  21. Can anyone whose had their front bumper lip and active spoiler painted to the match the body colour tell me approximately how much it cost and how long the job should take to do? Also, I achieved the attached result with my plug cover, using an assortment of sand paper, primer and paint & lacquer spray cans from Halfords. I'm very impressed with the finish. So I was wandering, do you think its advisable to have a go myself at painting the active spoiler? (sand down, primer, sand down, couple of coats of paint and finishing with a few coats of lacquer, doing some wet & dry along the way).
  22. I have noticed after the first couple of drives since having the new battery fitted the aero spoiler now works as it should with 'auto off' and 'auto down'. Not sure if it needed some time after a battery change but can't think why that would be the case .... anyway all is well.
