which tyres r u running then mate? Would i be ok just to change the rear ones only?

Whats m&s winter tyres mate? I've currently got 18 inch wheels with 265 35 18 on the back, federals they are! Will changing the back 2 tyres only make a good enough difference? Also as previous post said about the honda civic, fwd, would it still be very hard work on the supra being rwd with winter tyres?

just have a question about winter tyres, do they work or are they a waste of money? I've put a for sale ad up for the car cos the snow is that bad up here the car hasn't moved for days and its a real struggle getting to work etc! If they do make a biggish difference then ideally i'd rather keep the car, the option for me is going back to a gt4 cheers, Craig

Testing the waters on this one, if the bad weather stops i might change my mind! i'm thinking i want to go back to a gt4 as the supra, as good as it is, and as much as i'm loving the rear wheel drive, is just too impractical for the winter conditions where i live and work! The car is Bazza's old one and its in amazing condition, 3.0 NA 6 speed manual, which is a rare SZR facelift model, in silver. I'll get photos up when i can, but briefly its got 18inch BK racing 5 spoke alloys, HKS coilovers, rear PU bushes, 2nd decat, and blitz Nur spec which sounds amazing! I'd be looking for a cash sale of £4500 ovno, or a p/ex, money my way, against a gt4 st205 Anyone interested let me know !

Mixed driving 22 mpg, pure motorway driving 31 mpg, all with a heavy foot! Spirited country road driving (my fav ) 15mpg or less!! Car has 2nd decat and blitz back box, if i decat the 1st, will it go better or worse

Cheers, i'll check out your vid at home, as it wont work on works computer!! If i keep the blitz nur baffle in, how loud would it be then? How much is a toyota first cat btw?

My cats rattling, so should i buy a whifbitz 1st decat, £160, or should i buy one from japspeed for £120, is there any difference? Or should i be boring and put a new cat in there! The second cat has already been removed, how loud would it be overall, with my Blitz Nur spec R?

Funnily enough, i put my baffle in the other week, then the rattle started, but when i removed it the noise remained! think its coming from the front section of exhaust!

Tried to get under a couple of times but cant seem to pin point it mate! think i need to jack it up to get a closer look! its got a whifbitz 2nd cat decat pipe btw, connected to the blitz nur rear box! Hope i dont need any new bits tho, as there expensive!!

Hi all, i have a blitz Nur spec R back box, and a decat section, which i'm assuming is also blitz, but something somewhere is rattling in the exhaust at low engine revs, if i need to replace the downpipe, or whatever comes next after that in the exhaust pipework, what bits would i need to connect the blitz decat pipe to the exhaust manifold? cheers!

Waiting ages for Mr T to get me a passenger side seat belt for a non recaro seat, so if anyone has one, i'll cancel my order with them! Must retract properly tho, as mine doesnt! It should all be one unit, the retractor, the belt, the buckle, and the bracket where it connencts to car at top point;)

SzR, 6 speed, TT engine conversion now on the horizon, advice please!! I'm looking at an engine from fensport for £1600 plus VAT, advice please on what else needed!!

So with mine being a 6 speed szr, with lsd and tt brakes, and hks hypermax2 coilovers, would this swap be as simple as engine and ecu only?

Cheers guys! like i said tho, will defo just go for a tt engine complete swap! nice and easy.......... On the tt, is the NA's voltmeter where a boost gauge would be?

Thought they did, but just couldnt see it in the engine bay picks, whereas my gt4 intercooler can be spotted a lot more easily!! Defo gonna go for tt engine swap tho, keep it toyota, no aftermarket na-t upgrades!

Cheers for the advice! I just need to start saving money up now! Do standard TT's have intercoolers btw?

I've now come to my senses, :dand realised that yes, the only way is a TT:d:d, however as this is a mint SzR model (6 speed) i'm gonna go down the engine swap route:cool: any advice? the old owner of my car said to budget for around 2.5k all fitted, is this about right? what else will i need apart from complete engine with turbos, intercooler, ecu, boost gauge?
