  1. Well 2 plans really, either keep the car and swap the 6sp for a tt engine and auto box, or sell the 6sp box and sell the car seperate with an auto or a 5 sp, and if bottom dollar was 3k for the car without the 6sp, thats not bad as people are already offering silly low prices for the car as it is now with the 6sp, more like the pricse an NA auto would go for tbh:tongue:
  2. forking bejesus! Honestly that much? I could sell the gearbox and buy a tt engine and auto box and get it all installed prob make profit as well for that!
  3. how much is my getrag manual sixer worth if i were to take it out of my szr? May sound crazy but i have a plan:eyebrows:
  4. all good advice but this lpg in your back yard for chickens thing, is it plausable and how come everyone isnt doing it?
  5. Buyer pulled out so first come first served!
  6. its a beaudiful machine mate but got someone coming this weekend so maybe sold
  7. Cheers pal, yes they are all good selling points, just so surprised why it hasnt sold yet, I'm gonna take some more pics i think! Still thinking of ways i can keep it tbh[sAD][/sAD]
  8. Still not collected so still for sale, reduced to 4100[sHOCK][/sHOCK] Absolute bargain for an Szr 6 speed
  9. Forgot to state in original post for anyone who doesnt know, this is the SZR model and therefore has a lot of the extras that the TT's get, such as big 4 pot brakes up front, and LSD, as well as the 6 speed Getrag gearbox. This is THE ideal model to convert to a TT, as everything else is there on the car ready for the hike in power, brakes, LSD, and also has HKS coilovers! Or u can just keep as is!
  10. Mileage is about 115000 mate, clock reads 169000 as was converted late in its life
  11. my feelings exactly mate, wanted to go tt with this but now money issues mean i've downgraded to a celica gt, which saves me 150 a month, so technically it would pay for itself quite quick, then i could keep the supe as a weekend car if it still hasnt sold!
  12. true, but this money would only get someone an auto tt in not so brill condition. I was in the exact same position when i bought this, but i just couldnt go auto, and this was and still is in amazing condition:) I would always have to go for condition first, and manual, thats just me tho!
  13. Forgot to mention the car passed mot 4 weeks ago, first time with no advisories, even with the second decat! Has 5 months tax as well
  14. so how would u go about getting a tank in the house as well and who would fill it up for my chickens:D
  15. sounds decent that, where would i get it fitted and how would it effect performance, or do i just flick a switch back to the good stuff when i want to?
  16. Dam right mate! Who wants a crappy runaround when u can drive the supe for cheap! I bought a mint celica gt T reg for 1800 a couple of weeks ago as a replacement/runaround, but even tho its better than a runaround, it just doesnt cut the biscuit next to the supe! it is good in snow tho:p

My Szr is currently in the classifieds, but just thinking, how many people have done lpg conversions, and how much money roughly would i save, currently getting through approx £300 per month on fuel? Cheers
  18. cheers guys, just bought a celica gt yesterday for a work run-around so in no rush to sell as i'm already making big fuel savings! In a few months this celica would pay for itself anyway!
  19. cheers guys for all the comments! Wish i didnt have to sell but sharing an apartment with my girlfriend costs more than i thought! Tbh i'm gonna downscale twice to a celica gt, the car i had 2 cars ago
  20. Was it a 6sp tho? i'm not in any rush, if i dont get decent price i'll be keeping it!
