  1. Cheers Chris. I know what u mean about the right size being best of course. But these wheels are really nice and I got them at a real good price . Thing is, when I first got them I used the flat nuts, and got real bad vibration. I then got cone nuts and it's much much better but still not perfect. Wheels have been balanced btw. I'll check if that is a spigot then. If so it's come off the wheel, as this was a std car before. From my pics I was wondering why the centre bore of the wheel slopes in from about 70mm to about 60 ?
  2. Can someone look at these and tell me what's what
  3. Oh ffs. Don't wanna buy coilovers as don't want the harsh ride etc. Looks like the std replacement I swapped over for today does sit at the same height, but spring rate must just be softer than the other side
  4. I recently bought some really nice ats split rims, 18x 10j on the rear, with 285 rubber. Rear passenger side tyre keeps touching arch when I go over a bump or turn right, but driver side is fine. This is the strut I now swapped out on passenger side. Quick search on Google seems to say that they are kyb. The driver side is the same btw. So am I best just finding a decent condition replacement the same as this? Or should I try get one kyb adjustable and then I have the option of highering it to make it right? It's a Soarer btw but of course suspension is same as supra
  5. Cheers Chris, so really 15mm isn't much difference as u say, so standard or bilstein will do for then Dunno what u mean. Who said anything about kw? And whose into drag racing?
  6. Cheers Chris, but sorry I didn't mention in the above post that my car now is on std Soarer suspension atm, with some sort of lowering springs.
  7. Hey guys, my Soarer is too low on the front. My old Soarer had supra tt ohlins all round and sat at a height I was happy with. Question is, do supra standard, supra bilsteins, and supra ohlins all sit at the same height?
  8. Cheers guys . Swampy, I was hoping for an early mext week delivery. Dunno whether to just get recon tho... When's your bro taking them off?
  9. Hi guys is it correct that Soarer tt Gs300 mk1 Supra j spec Front callipers are all the same? Currently the soarer had failed mot on sticking front callipers, need some quick, they say 32v on the top so I'm assuming that that ties in with the 32mm thickness of the discs. A search online revealed that these callipers are the same, and brakepart have in the gs callipers but not soarer. They say casting number 32v, but on brakespartssuperstore there appears to be differences in the specs. See attached pics
  10. I'm in 2 minds atm as whether or not to sell one of the Soarers and get a supra again. The problem before was fuel economy and trying to get a baby seat in the back . Fuel economy doesn't matter as much as before, but I now have 2 cars anyway, a v8 soarer and a tuned tt soarer. The v8 gets decent mpg and has a big back seat and boot, it's a really good daily. Soooo, should I sell the tt and get another supra is the question?
  11. Ye true I know what u mean. R154 ~1200, 1uz ~800, then the price of an NA auto in the first place maybe 1500, so about right, ish
  12. Ah right. Hmm. I resprayed my s13 last year, and it took me AGES. Was good in the end, but wouldn't want to do another any time soon Would have made sense for someone to pick a nice shell in the first place to do a big conversion eh
  13. http://m.gumtree.com/p/toyota/toyota-supra-4.0-v8-soarer-manual/1042429355 Looks interesting. R154, 1uz, what's not to like?
  14. Wonder how low a std supra compared to a std soarer run then. If the supra is lower, then these should then give me a bit of a drop
  15. They are supra struts swampy. But I'm sure iirc when I bought them he said they won't lower it, meaning they won't lower a supra, but if they lower a soarer, then the fronts will be ideal because I need to lower out approx 40mm
  16. Hi guys I bought some bilstein struts with tein springs on, to put on the soarer, do they lower it at all? At the front it would be helpful, but not so much at the rear. Cheers
  17. Cheers for the link. Defo an lsd then?
  18. Cheers. I'll grab one of those then instead of waiting forever for a soarer one
  19. Cheers. So that'd be an NA auto diff?
  20. Hi guys. Just wanna know if a supra lsd will go straight into an auto soarer v8? Would it need to be taken from an auto supra? Cheers
  21. Your gonna struggle. All the places I rang kept directing me back to the place I bought the battles from as they are the UK importer. If they don't have them no one will kinda thing
  22. Went for these in the end and stuck them on the v8
  23. What car would they have been made under licence for then Chris? Hmm, i may hold fitting the bilstein i bought on here for the tt, and possibly fit them on the V8 then. We will see
