Right then first things first is there a member on here that knows their stuff with the honda D16A9 engine. The reason for this as i have been asked to prep a car for a race by a good mate who has done something rather stupid. He has agreed to a race next summer and the winner gets the others car. ( lame I know). He has a CRX with the D16A9 engine and does not want to go turbo or supercharged, as he wants it to stay as stock looking as possible. The guy hes racing has a starlet GT running around 250BHP, Does anyone have any advice on building this car, the race is a best of 3 drag. Im thinking weight reduction is going play a key part in this. Perspex windows stripped interior and replacing boot floor with ally sheeting. Any help would be much appreciated to show this bloke up as he is the typical little person who thinks he is better than everyone and he has made it clear that he will send my mates car to the scrappy to be crushed just to spite Rhys. easiest way to stop air bags going of is disconnect the pre tensioner on one of the seats, the reason being is that if the air bag light is lit up then the air bag will not go off as the system is designed to pull you into your seat and that extra bit away from the air bag itself when deployed, so where the module senses a problem with the pre tensioner it disables the air bag firing mechanism, tried and tested method while recovering crashed cars where the bag did not deploy.

only got a few as being the idiot i am, as i was stripping it down and cleaning it up and making a few mods while transferring them off my phone memory to card i bloody deleted a load lol. The ones i wanted aswell to make things worse, it was 4wd but decided to make it more fun and convert it to rwd. The mods i done was involving a dremel and getting rid of un-needed parts to remove some weight lol. As soon as i upload them i will add them on here.

What a great day, I have been in agony all last night and today only to be told by a doctor that all i can do is sit in pain. Started out by my dad breaking down in a nasty position on a slip road of the m4. So I turned up and decided to push in his galaxy out of the position he was in. This was due to it being dark and on a blind corner with no lighting and well known for accidents, and due to having no power even more dangerous as there was no chance of putting hazards on. All was ok until when pushing I slipped. I have now found out I have ripped the muscles in my left hand side from my hip all the way to my neck. So while trying to prevent an accident I have done myself in all because the police are a waste of time. I rang them to tell them of the situation and they seemed panicked when they found out where the vehicle was. Even after this they did not even send a vehicle out that was to put cones out and help prevent an accident. 3 traffic cars drove past and didn't even stop , so what exactly does our taxes pay for and they would be the 1st complaining if there had been an accident, even the AA turned up and recovered the vehicle and we still do not know if the police ever came along.

just finished watching the second series last night and glad some tidy programs are coming back on to the screen.
