Any update on this?

Hi guys, After seeing other people getting Bullseye turbo's, it finally gave me the bump i needed. I have been thinking about one of these since September of last year, when i spoke to one of the american guys who has a S472 on his with race cover. Not sure which in/ exducer sizes he has but i'm not comparing that anyway. It would be to replace my current HKS T04-R setup with .96 A/r and the goal would be to get a more reliable/ durable turbo (ball bearing), make some more power (700-800 WHP mark max) without maxing the turbos potential. But at the same time not loose the good spool and response i get from the current setup. Altough i have been following Jamie's progress with his billet turbo which is now giving interestingly high power, I have read and seen more info on the bullseye turbos recently with good and better results against other turbo manufacturers. I was wondering whether any of you experience guys could help me a little with your own experiences as to what turbo to go for, what size to upgrade to etc when going to a Bullseye setup, as they have many choices not only in compressor sizes, but also in the different housings etc. It would be choosing the easier way when just ordering a T72/78 just to make more power. But as said above, I would just like to hear some tips/ comments from others what there experience and or advice would be. Thanks PS: dyno sheet below, car is on stock fuel at the moment but will be a Stage 2 PHR kit going on to support the power... Be aware that the current status due to stock fuel is that its running @ 1.2 Bar when it can go to 1.6 (as per HKS spec) http://lh6.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz6KSLh3nOI/AAAAAAAACV4/jak8lFJ_f88/s512/Dyno%20run%20Re-Worx%202.jpg Crank HP http://lh6.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz6KSaeeCTI/AAAAAAAACV8/gswCPjjZzbE/s512/Dyno%20run%20Re-Worx%20small%201.jpg

Garage Whifbitz Supra race car build
Callaway Motorsport replied to Paul Whiffin's topic in mkiv Supra Projects
Thats one badass turbo, bloody hell I knew they were larger but not that much. Manifold looks great, alot like the PHR/ Fullrace versions... the quality just shines off it You planning to sell those through your business Paul? Also going Bullseye myself in the next months to come. So could use a new one.. -
Seems to be the way most guys do it in the US too. But was just wondering what most people found of it. Will be going 315 rears this year anyway. So shouldn't be a problem

Some nice plans everybody has Mine: Get car built up and imported in the coming month. After that: Full fuel system to replace everything oem. + Remap and crank up the boost. Finish testing our own BBK for MK4 and fit it discs and calipers allround. Bullseye turbo setup to replace my T04R kit, depends on options, like the quick spool on the setup i have now... and just want a BB billet turbo for more reliability. without sacrificing good engine response. Cage + rear seats out (decided this the other day) Maybe change Fcon for a Solaris or AEM V2. Not sure yet. End of year target: 2nd engine to rebuild completely with forged internals and worked on head. (small chance of making our own billet Crank for the 2JZ depending on developments)

wanted 2JZ-GTE Head or complete engine without peripherals
Callaway Motorsport replied to Peter10654's topic in Parts Wanted
You looking for complete swap.....or just engine with head & no intake/ waterpump etc? -
Looking for a stock front bumper in reasonable condition. Color does not matter, will have respray. No cracks/ tears or bends preferrably. pm please cheers. Dane
-
Nice sprayjob mate, car is looking great, very nice gloss.
-
Looks nice, congrats on the purchase...

Don't take any notice of the poor boy at the shop, he's just jealous like the rest said, because he drives a car built like a coke can Lol WIN UBER WIN
-
Lol, no red light zones, you will find clubs though Funnily enough there is a huge one just here where i live. One of the most popular in western europe i.e. people from switzerland come here. But its now also changed into more of a normal sauna club where for 50,- euro you can eat, drink and go to the sauna, but if you want there are ladies available apparantly so its more discrete... Lol, not at all unfortunately, normal sized house

As an englishman living Holland, all i can say is. DON'T GO TO AMSTERDAM WITH THE CAR..... Traffic systems here in holland are bloody terrible, and there are many other nice places to see than Amsterdam, Rotterdam there is more to do and good for road trips + good places to eat.... Oh, and would like to join you guys on the way once you hit holland
-
No problem, note i have my own company, so i will be able to get it with my own supplier
-
Thanks Jamie, Does look very nice and clean once painted. Is it bolted to the body of the car? or Welded? @MArc. I am still not so sure whether the light covers will go on, i need to check them out on the car first.
-
Ok, small update, new wheels to replace broken ones on the way. have them ready to order at the moment Should be here in feb. I need some advice on whether i should get a rollcage, It's something i've been thinking about for a while but still not able to make a decision on whether i should or not (to keep the rear seat available for passengers) And just for the rear or for the front? We will not be using the car for circuit work but merely to show off parts.

I was very lucky they were on the car when i bought it from japan. at the time i did not realise they were Ridox, but in real life they are even more stunning I would certainly suggest them to fellow supra drivers who like them... very tough quality and painting them is very easy also, they are fabricated and prepared well from factory...

Lol yeah, Car was treated with anti rust on bottom. I did it myself. But not really needed as car is as hard as a rock from the bottom, so i did a great purchase on this baby. thanks mate No problem for that jay, i actually find it interesting what you just did. I did compare the stock wings to these ones, and they are quite a bit wider, and like Nick says 30mm each side. I posted the wheels sizes on previous page: 9,5J +12 PS: Thanks for the comments everyone,
-
Yeah they will, only thing i hate about em is that they are only avail. in 9,5j max. these are +12 Offset allround have too thin tyres on front and back. fronts are 235 and rears 245. will be 265 and 295 when 2 new wheels arrive. Once that happens i will have to see how the car responds regaring grip.
-
Good question, i was thinking about it for a few months and have decided to purchase 2 new ones, powdercoat all of them and either keep them, or sell them. In any case I will be looking to purchase some other wheels with 10 fronts and 11 rears.

It makes a hell of a difference yes, just a few cans of paint. In the next few months there will be alot of changes to the suspension setup. new bushes, arms etc, all of this will be done before going to more engine upgrading. Oh yeah, heres a graph of the mapping which was done in end 2008 with the Fcon fitted: WHP http://lh6.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz6KSLh3nOI/AAAAAAAACV4/jak8lFJ_f88/s512/Dyno%20run%20Re-Worx%202.jpg Crank http://lh6.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz6KSaeeCTI/AAAAAAAACV8/gswCPjjZzbE/s512/Dyno%20run%20Re-Worx%20small%201.jpg

Very bright silver with goldish gloss http://lh4.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz5xNR2EheI/AAAAAAAACSI/8SKSekfqBcs/s720/DSC09759.JPG And i let them surprise me with the hood, originally it was planned to keep it matt black, but they decided to make it look alot better as a small favour http://lh3.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz5xNiyOsYI/AAAAAAAACSM/jSx1CFhE6KI/s720/DSC09760.JPG http://lh5.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz5xN84L10I/AAAAAAAACSQ/0_MEcUtPM7E/s720/DSC09763.JPG http://lh6.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz5xO2rMsQI/AAAAAAAACSg/dSjDuAOC25Q/s576/DSC09793.JPG

Next was the cleaning up. I decided to clean and respray most to all the whole bottom of the car including axles etc. To make the whole thing neat again. http://lh5.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz53Ls5ol6I/AAAAAAAACTc/bPxhBUP524s/s720/DSC07180.JPG http://lh3.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz53MH8sBlI/AAAAAAAACTk/YsVBtwX3hx0/s720/DSC07195.JPG Respray taking place: http://lh3.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz53NiLWUJI/AAAAAAAACTw/031pZh3_j0s/s720/DSC07538.JPG http://lh4.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz53Nw2OUZI/AAAAAAAACT0/icLfGOBYQ8k/s720/DSC07543.JPG http://lh3.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz53ON-MP8I/AAAAAAAACT4/tmZ_hiKb9FU/s720/DSC07549.JPG http://lh3.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz53OUQPyDI/AAAAAAAACT8/5_TPX3BNo0s/s720/DSC07552.JPG http://lh3.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz53Ou92r3I/AAAAAAAACUA/xdTSMc1kq08/s720/DSC07605.JPG http://lh6.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz53O9OQQvI/AAAAAAAACUE/vRV83XXJOnI/s720/DSC07607.JPG
