  1. Hi there Ash, yes i still have the starter motor
  2. Because if you retard the timing too much you get higher egt's,
  3. After 30 hours non stop engine building we were finally at the hub Dyno, all was now revealed, the answer to why my old engine died, my aeromotive fuel setup (good for 1100hp) has now developed a problem and starts dropping fyel pressure above the 600hp mark, then the ecu pulls timing because of knock and you loose your valve seats, more investigation into the problem later today...
  4. Yeh same here, your the only other person I know, snap Can't really tell the colour of the cylinder! What cylinder? Lol What do think of stock pistons and carrillo rods for 850 hp? I've heard that's what a few boys are doing now, not sure how much of a beating they can take at constant load though?
  5. Nope, standard seats, standard valves, the only things that were done to the head was porting/polishing and 3 or 5 angle valve grind, I don't remember which now, wasnt cheap!
  6. My poor forged lump with cp pistons, carrillo rods, ported and polished head, hks cams wtf /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_sad.gif It dropped a valve seat which then destroyed it, Before http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=3763374&l=c76113101e&id=512096710 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=3761568&l=71e9b75396&id=512096710 After http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=261750&id=512096710&l=c82a71b49c
  7. Lol, just saw your message now, im doing fine thanks, you?
  8. Hi matt, yes that's it, I'm in Buckingham and east London so you can collect from either or I can send. But it will cost about £7 to send
  9. i have uk cams on my j spec but not pushing it too hard. im going to replace them with j specs as im only staying bpu and not mapping. the UK's would be great for someone thats going to remap with larger injectors. say 550's or larger or maybe even doing a hybrid turbo conversion.
  10. i have one and work in your area. so you could collect from my garage?
  11. im pritty sure thy're low, i have exactly the same injectors. but that is a great price for them
  12. Maybe its got something to do with the decreasing the life of the engine, i read somewhere that if you have vacuum in the crankcase it also pulls oil from the bearings and the big ends start prematurely wearing...
  13. lookie lookie. this blew out the crank seals in the end, pissed out all its remaining oil over the floor, then blew the turbocharger and sounded like a true cement mixer
  14. thats what my diesel was running like with a blown engine, it used to loose a few litres and id just poor it back in again at the end of the jorney if i find some pics ill post them
  15. Hi, Ive got a spare NEW O2 Sensor Made my Blue Print i bought a little while back for another single conversion i didnt do. Its got the threaded type bung to screw into your aftermarket downpipe and it plugs straight into your normal multiplug. £55 delivered
  16. best way to test is get it up in the air and spin each wheel seperatly and see if it spins freely, then try it with it in park or in gear if its a manual. if the diffs broke youll get to a point where it starts crunching or getting stuck. if not you may feel the calipers binding. and have a look at the rear axle, your diff may be hanging off
