  1. Im exagerating things a bit here, its not exactly breathing heavy and its only just been run in, built by myself, all rings gaps are perfect and runs like a dream, i ran it without any pipes on it last night @ full boost with harldy anything contaminating the engine bay, but i wanted to remove any possibilties of any oil getting into the intake and intercoolers while helping the engine run more efficiently, creating more power and not having to worry about blowing any crank seals, not that its previously done this
  2. What i was thinking is quite complicated but im pritty sure it will give you enough extra power to be worth the time and effort, its a mix of designs but may proove the most effective 1. route both breather hoses to a catch tank 2. at the bottom of the catch tank route to the exhaust via the 1 way valve, therefore no emptying, then test for vacuum up to redline using a gauge, if not sufficient or too much vac is created then... a. if too much is created, use a 1 way bleed valve or similar to relieve excess vac b. if not enough vac is created at higher rpm/boost then install a vacuum pump, using a bmw cold start emission air pump to create sufficient vacbut controlled by a regulator or valve to keep vac at a constant rate. can also ve use with a few one way valves...
  3. everyone takes out the heater vent rather than the clock. so you wont find as many, unlesss someone has gione to town with their gauges, best bet is to give keron a call, he's breaking a few more supras now
  4. there are a got few drag supras here with well over 1000hp but are we talking about daily runners here?
  5. Thats what i have on my car, i got up to 150mph sat nav speed on a private road and set it up to that, now its 100%
  6. I spoke to Dude and he is runing his into a tank with 2 large breathers on it, but oil goes down into the exhaust, I was thinking if thats the case, i can just run the oil back into the sump?
  7. Its not a massive amount, just a thin residue on the intake pipe, but i want NO oil at all. The catch tank doesnt actually catch! maybe ill mount it properly and see if it makes a difference.
  8. Hi everybody, im currently running around 750hp at the crank @1.5bar boost, and going up to around 2bar boost to run the 850hp potential of my turbo. At the moment im running 2 x -10 AN lines from the valve covers to a catch tank and back the inlet of the turbo, but i still get oil into the turbo. maybe from the velocity of the air it hasnt all dropped into the tank? I was also told that venting it into the exhaust with a 1 way valve is good for creating vacuum, but then i have read that at over 4.5 to 5k it wont create vacuum if your exhaust is ever so slightly restrictive, therefore its going to create pressure unless you vent to atmosphere, but then all your really doing is just draining the excess oil into the exhaust and venting to atmosphere, so creating no vacuum at all:blink: another thing ive heard is to use vacuum pumps set to around 10psi vacuum at a certain boost and you apparently gain around 40hp??? What are you 800hp+ guys running? and how well do they work?
  9. if its sounds a but like a train, you've broken your diff, done this a few times
  10. ive spent thousands! around the £40k mark just in parts... i was shocked when i added up everything last year
  11. LOL reeaaaaally thick! ive had many supras and other turbocharged cars and have experienced the "spaz out mode" as i call it when you feel id say an extra 30-40hp increase but this felt more like +100hp nos, and just pulled harder and harder as the revs climbed. maybe its got something to do with me plumbing my wastegate back into my exhaust, although i thought i would have lost some power but, i saw .1bar more, maybe this coupled with the cooler temp has given it the extra oooomph
  12. Hi everyone, i've jumped back into my 2JZ single gt4094r and its feeling a hell of a lot faster than before, i know the intake temps are lower but DAMMM, my racelogic is working overtime and when i do get traction 130+ its BLOOOOOODY fast. Just wondering what you guys have to input on this
  13. Hi guys, I have a pair of HKS cam pulleys that were installed on my 2JZ for a few hundred miles. I'll add pics tomorrow, £150 plus p&p
  14. You can buy them new cheaper than that, sort us out a good price mate and I'll have one
  15. yes pulleys are the same and i have a spare from my other engine. £50 plus p&p if you want it
  16. i didnt realise asking one question could bring up this wholes discussion....
  17. Not if they are a certain size, and people can also edit their profile not to see things like that if they don't want to
  18. Maybe a nice christmas pressie for someone ?
  19. On other forums you can add a nice small picture in your sig, but here its disabled why? and can we enable mine please?????
