  1. Nice work, im currently doing similar stuff. What bushes/kit did you use? Im thinking about sourcing another rear subframe for less Car off road time
  2. REALLY?? Hmmmm I wonder how much id get for my NA-TT (auto) then?
  3. Ive been out the loop for a while....have the prices on supras went up?? I remember when 4-5k would get you a decent TT auto. I thought with your budget there would have been loads of replies.
  4. Engine is a 3S-GT isnt that the same engine as the 6th gen Celica(st205) and MR2?
  5. ive just ordered 1 from... http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/parts?cat=89&sub=1354&sec=1563&var=39&dc=y

    Cw j spec pads

Cheers Dunk. Anyone got some discs?
  7. Merry christmas all. Im currently looking for mr Wilsons email address so i can ask him directly but being the time of year it is he may be off line for a while. Can anyone tell me how much his own brand brake pads are please? J spec (smaller ones) Cheers Oh if anyone is selling. GOOD set of front discs (oem preferably) please let me know.
  8. Just caught up on this. Great stuff. Id love a V8 supra but after doing the whole NA-TT build last time and the mess and long cold hours on my back etc id need to buy one, building it solo would be too much for me. Loving this though.
  9. Im an openreach engineer so climbing up 11m telegraph poles and high point of customers houses is high enough for me. That video gives me flutters in my stomach.
  10. Cheers Ric I never even knew about the primer treatment. (Not read into it much tbh) idea only came to me yesterday when I ran out of spare coolant and had to use water. Think I'll be better replacing hoses and cracking on with regular coolant.
  11. My daily driver (V70) seems to have a very minor coolant leak that I cannot detect (I loose about 1 litre a month) I'm suspecting this is a pinhole in a coolant pipe that's possibly blowing steam whilst hot. I was wondering if waterless coolant may solve this? Thoughts? Also how would I go about draining ALL the normal coolant from the system. (Running engine for 30 secs after draining from bottom rad hose possibly) Thanks for any input.
  12. Have you had this fitted to your car? How does the hybrid drive/feel compered to the stock TT autobox? Cheers.
  13. Well written blog. Enjoyable. Keep up the good work sir.
  14. Out of interest Dunk, what struts are those? I can't recall ever seeing red struts apart from REAS.
  15. That car is awesome. Please video those lights before ripping them out. You not tempted to keep them for novelty value?
  16. They look a pretty good match Dunk. Eibachs are supposed to be great springs though..so I doubt these are them. I had them on yellow bilsteins are the ride was back breaking.
  17. I think they may have been cusco but was never sure. I bought them off keron years ago on yellow bilsteins. VERY FIRM if I hit a pothole/gap on a bend in the road I'd just lose traction and nearly bounce off.
  18. I know all springs look similar but some are easier to tell than others
  19. As per title. Can anyone hazard an educated guess as to what these back breaking springs these are on the left. Stock are on right. Cheers.
  20. Cheers. Don't suppose you know the size (thread) of the straight up fuel fitting?
  21. Ah right cheers Chris. So does the pump have a non return valve?
