I would not tap off the map sensor line. Jake lost one of his engines by the pipe somehow coming off the map sensor so it really is not worth messing with this line, find another

You may well have knackered them by re-gapping, are you sure all six leads are pushed home correctly

Did you say you re-gapped the iridiums? You shouldnt be re-gapping them really. I would use these Denso Platinum - PK16R11 - gap 1.1mm. Whats it like on idle when you drive it normally
