    tt vs NA engine

Block different as Jamie said oil squirters, rods same, crank same, pistons different, head different
  2. I am very surprised it has gone at only 0.5bar, my Precision T61 has been running at 0.8bar for over two years as a daily driver. Would be good if you could manage a detailed write up on the conversion though
  3. Just out of interest how much bar are you running?
  4. IIRC is around 10-12 upwards from the horizontal
  5. Me too, Check the attendance figures
  6. In a previous life (15 ish years ago) got caught doing 63 in a 30 zone, nothing dangerous... for those who know it the A62 dual carriageway from Manchester city centre out towards Oldham. Ended up with five points and cant remember the fine but around the £150 mark
  7. If Kieran cant sort you out I have one sat here
  8. Jake did a sub 5 sec (just) a few years back in a stock vvti
  9. As mentioned internals will be fine (crank and con rods same as a TT) you will however need to lower the compression as mentioned ideally by using TT pistons but a headgasket change will suffice. I think the 3.0mm is a bit of a overkill, boostlogic do a 2.5mm Cometic item which lowers the compression to 8.5:1. Injector wise go with Boostlogics Precision brand I think they are 650 or 680cc. It sounds like you are doing things properly so in my experience I would ditch the MAP and go for the AEM ECU. All in all I would go for the stage 1 kit and customise it yourself to suit, Have you considered the Boostlogic stage 1 kit?
  10. Picked these up today, thanks Dave
  11. Dave I will take these on the proviso they will fit a 10" rim and I can pick the up on saturday. Would you take £180
  12. Thanks Dean, holding out for a sprayed one really or I will have a trial one
  13. Must be in Quicksilver and good condition paintwork wise

    10" Rear Wheel

    http://www.pneus-online.co.uk/equivalency-tables-advice.html I have 265's on my 10j rears
  15. Just reversed into the back of my M.D's car with the Supra. It has put a nice dent in his and not damaged mine to badly, it has sort of cracked (spider webbed) the back bumper. Question is can the plastic bumper be resprayed to a good enough finish or will it be a new bumper? I am feeling a little peeved as this is my first accident in 18 years driving
  16. It has been done using a CPS from a Mk3 Supra and the AEM ECU. There could be a possibility of the EMU been able to control the timing. More trouble than it is worth IMO, why do you want to go down this road?

  18. I wonder if it will have a Richard Grant bodykit as standard and a Harry Moss alarm, seriously though I loved the Capri
  19. Crazy, beautiful sunshine so far up here in Cheshire Edit : Just opened the curtains to a covering of snow

  21. Are you working in Macc?
  22. For those old enough.... get in the loft and find them old 78's http://uk.news.yahoo.com/afp/20080312/ten-entertainment-japan-it-technology-mu-1dc2b55.html
  23. I machined some of these years ago, why dont you machine a ' D ' shape in the back of them using a 2mm slot drill then they will attach directly onto the original shaft
