  1. Haha I see full boost in 4th gear at 4000 rpm .... then 4500 rpm of full power till the red line : very impressive. I remember the first time I got the Supra back from SRD (must be 5 years ago now) ; Lee asked after 4 weeks : " have you tried high boost yet " I replied : " I have no idea how low boost and mid boost feels"
  2. Thanks mate. Low boost on E60 hasn't been dynoed. It is 1.4 bar (wastegate pressure). I never use low or mid boost. I'm no fan of nitrous ; that is for big turbos ... not for my tiny one. Spool is great with the VVTi.
  3. I buy E85 for 0.60€ per liter. I add a bit of 102 octan pump gas to have 60% of ethanol. Everything above 60% gives me full power. After discussing with Lee, we agreed on that. Too much ethanol may be counter productive in terms of lubrification of the engine. Attached : the pump fuel graph : 1.5 Bar with 98 octan E70 map : 2 3 Bar Power is at the wheels (rwhp)
  4. Once wheels are sorted, you need a massive turbo
  5. I was out in the Supra yesterday. It is awesome on E60 ; the ethanol changes the Supra completely compared to pump gas. On pump gas, I see 1.5 Bar in 4th gear at 3800 rpm : on E60, I see 2.1 Bar at 3800 in 4th : completely sick. The VVTi is so nice to drive ; I see positive boost in 4th gear at 2400rpm.

    Syvecs vs link

Let people do the job who know the job. Amateurism will become costy.
  8. What diameter are you running?

    Syvecs vs link

    Syvecs : definately
  10. Hey racer. Are you looking for 4" or less ?
  11. Good point mate. All the components are important. Neglect one, and impact will be on the efficiency of others
  12. Listen to John : go 6466 ..... you will be bored with 700 quite fast
  13. I guess you want 700bhp on pump gas? Then, go for 6466.
  14. Find a tuner/mapper and choose the ECU the mapper can map properly.
  15. Ok. Looks good on the defender
  16. Honestly : I prefer the first ones. More classy
  17. Cool Those rims will change the look of it massively : great choice
  18. 550 bhp on NA-T requires a proper engine management system. I would contact SRD for an expert opinion. When I ran 530bhp on my first single turbo, I was on AEM .... switched to Syvecs after 2/3 years. ECU is an important element in a single build
