  1. Personally Id go with studs all over, they are more accurate in the torque reading as they dont 'twist' as conventional bolts do.

    what next?

Small single as Jamie says, the auto has handled plenty of singles in the past with ease.
  3. Right, Ill get that changed then. They were what I was referring to though. I suppose for arguments sake, the bolts could be replaced due to them being TTY?
  4. Theres an exhaust clip with the HKS on there, maybe YouTube? I can, and Im sure others will to, say that there is a great tone on the Dragger and it doesn't drone on motorways.
  5. Hi Guys, I have some bits from the rebuild. Ill be honest but I do feel they would be better off with someone than in a scrap bin! The crank needs grinding on one journal, its about 8 thou out. The rest are ok but would need checking to clarify. I have 5 sets of standard rods on standard pistons. 7 main caps. I also have the bottom end remainders apart from the block which is cracked but if anyone wants it they're more than welcome. Would make a nice coffee table! Other parts are still here. Just thought it to be a waste to chuck everything. I realise its very unlikely for someone to be scanning through here looking for these specific parts so Ill just leave it in the for sale if someone needs them and goes searching. Cheers
  6. After having all the work done on the engine machine wise, I have now started looking at parts to get things back together. I have searched the forum for fine detail but Im only getting major components. With a few people, as well as myself, doing this I thought maybe a parts list could be put together. Ill write up the majority of parts I believe are needed and then people can add to it and Ill edit the original list, therefore we will have all the components required for a rebuild. This could be done to give people an idea on what they'll be looking at if attempting this task or a reference when purchasing parts. I understand that there will be some debate on this due to people needing pistons, rods etc. I think this could just be a comprehensive parts list with things that need replacing regardless, to do a proper rebuild that is Part numbers wont be entered due to variations of different sizes ie big ends, mains etc. For a 2JZ-GTE Cheers! 7. I think its the cat not decat?
  8. You should still get a Dragger
  9. Loosen the three(?) screws where the bulb twists into if it doesn't come out or go in all that easy.
  10. At least we're not setting high standards!
  11. Change that speed converter/delimiter. Had the same problem on mine.
  12. Oh and you know you want this too ... Nice sound!
  13. Dont think the head has to come off, just the cam covers etc...
  14. Wrist pins are the connecting section of the rod and piston joint. Ive personally not come across TOGA but when the importance of engine strength is at stake Id buy the best, even if it means buying individually. Then again they need an opinion so someone has to buy them and try them at some point
