  1. Steve, Ok. This weekend I'll pop my rev dial off too and send it back to you (PM me with your addy as I didn't keep the packing!) If you can get the MANU and O/D segments sorted so that more than a few photons can shine through that'll be good. Also the RPM and TRD logos are too close. Thanks - when do you get deployed? I though it was soon...
  2. Ok. Here's the pix of the Rev dial at night. Lovely blue but as you can (can't) see the O/D and MANU barely light up/shine through!!! If you reckon just cutting out the white surface is do-able/will be ok I'll give it a try...
  3. Not bad - but I would add a 500GB HDD and overclock it from 2GHz to 4GHz! And add water cooling too...
  4. I'll take a couple of pix this afternoon and post up. The overall design is good (apart from the cramped RPM text). I'd like to be able to tell when the O/D and MANU have been set so I'll post back to you for fixing by Speedhut. In terms of options as long as I can clearly see the warning lights then I'm happy. Block cutout as per your picture is good. Not sure that cutting the words would allow enough light through... Cheers, Glenn
  5. Steve, They are the Auto TRD reverse El Glow white with blue font. I can see that the MANU and O/D sections have been scribed with thin characters but comparing with your picture the blocks (clear plastic behind the characters) have not been done properly. I checked last night and I could just make out the faint glow of the original lights illuminating the MANU and O/D sections. I don't want to take the dial off and scrape the area clear in case I screw things up...
  6. Steve, Fitted mine today but cannot see the MANU and O/Drive lights... all else is ok though.
  7. Steve, Must be Xmas! Just received my dials - and they look good! Cheers
  8. Steve, Any news when you'll post the dials?
  9. Using it right now. Seems a lot quicker and tidier than the MS IE8 beta2 I'm trying...
  10. Any update on ETA? Have you checked them yet? Cheers

  12. Hope to be there, but I must finish the carkits installation postponed from last weekend first!!!
  13. Hey, A great meet! Good to put faces to names on the forum. And a very friendly bunch as well! Now to get the roof spoiler moved up a bit...that'll be next weekend's job - along with the carkits I didn't fit today Next month then at the Wheatsheaf?

  16. Hi, I hope to drop by and meet up (depends on whether I can finish my carkit installation). See you tomorrow. Glenn
  17. Hey - you were right on the money !! Tried 1 & 2 - no change. Then tried 3. I did trace back the wire and sure enough I'd connected the nearside inner light to pin 30 of relay 2! A quick swap over and - Success!!!:D:D A very neat foglight conversion - and I have finished it off with a neat rocker switch which has a red LED telltale fitting into the active spoiler switch hole. Many thanks;)
  18. Do a search for the filename in the Registry using Regedit. You may want to make a backup of the Registry before going further. The search may find it in a few places. The ones you want to check are in file associations section, run section and program defaults section. Worth trying in this place first: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run Then: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\programname\shell\open\command HTH...
  19. Chris, Can you supply a set of those full S/S brake lines for my JSpec TT? How much including delivery? Cheers Glenn
  20. I have my good condition original one (1994) with around 70k miles on it. It is the JSpec TT Torsen LSD for sure. I fitted a newer one as I am putting a lot more power down! It's around 30kgs so isn't something easily posted! PM me if interested.
  21. Saw it on ebay. But not convinced about its accuracy. Or quality...
