I'm looking to upgrade my JSpec brakes after my TT conversion last year! I've always had an issue with the brake setup on the car, and have never been pleased with it! I have a few quid at the moment and a friend of mine has the K-Sport 8 pots of his s14a. Does anyone have any advice or experience with these units? Also, I'm looking at the 356mm 8-pot option, is this gunna be a problem for 18x8.5j wheels on a +35 offset? Cheers Dan

I've started working with a chap who's bang into his RC helis and as I've always had an interest in picking this up I went down to their field where they fly and had a look! After about 2 solid days of talking to this chap and doing a bit of research, i've decided to go for a Titan mini 450 or TRex 450 and I've even looked at a Trex 500! Obviously, these can be big money so as I'm only starting out, the 450 looks like the way to go. So far I've got an ideal spec list in mind: 450 SE (with ally head) or 500 unit Futaba gy401 gyro Futaba servos all round FF7 or 9 tx/rx 2.4Ghz That's what I've managed to come up with so far! I'm still VERY much new to all this, so any advice or thoughts would be great! Maybe even just to know another person who's into it! Cheers Dan

After having a look at the wiring for the inverter. Can anyone tell me if it would be possible to power it like the way my speed converter is powered on the other side? There are connectors similar to this on the other side of the dials Might be handier than soldering onto plastic bits!

I've seen the first 2 episodes and have the other 2 waiting to be watched! Liking it so far, but it is a bit slow at the beginning! Saying that, there has to be a bit of back-story I suppose.

I've had this issue where occasionally I'll lose all dials on the car! It first happened a few months ago when I was on a spirited drive, but as I was driving at speed my eyes weren't on the dials and I wasn't 100% sure if i'd actually seen it as it only happened for a second! Then it happened again the other day whilst driving quite slow, and they dropped off for a minute or so and came back on again! The entire speedo cluster, the km bar at the top of the dash and the whole heater control panel went off completely! However, all my gauges remained active and fully working! It happened again last night, except this time the car was stationary and didn't move for the whole event. The dials and everything else went off as usual and the gauges stayed on, but what I did notice was that the voltmeter was showing the volts drop from just over 14v as normal to nearly 13v before the power to the dials etc came back on again! This might be coincidence, but I don't know if it's related so thought i'd mention it. I even checked the turbo timer to see if that went off, but it stayed fully on the whole time. Also, the car didn't faulter or drop off in any way when these things happened. Anyone have this happen before or have any thoughts? Many Thanks Dan
