  1. Aw man! I'll need to bring mine down to you for a V16x gearbox swap and a respray some day! Looks amazing!
  2. I agree with that, though I haven't put up nice pictures in a while and stock bodied was close enough a reason
  3. What colour is the interior carpet and head liner? Black?
  4. Visually I'm stock with the exception of wheels (Rota GTR 18" in white), ride height (Tein coilovers) and exhaust (RS*R).
  5. Yeah there are two 6N0 gunmetal facelifts up here (Aberdeen). Monsween has a stock-ish looking one (Shine Auto carbon rear diffuser and a front active spoiler). Drift_bear recently got his one which is kitted a bit (Trial rear, Veilside skirts, Do-Luck front). Kieran (Monsween)'s is a TT6 and Alex (drift_bear)'s is a TT auto.
  6. I'm more after the carpet to be honest! The head liner was just a bonus ball
  7. When I sold my Golf it had a coilover leak and an erratic idle after 3 mins (think it was a coilpack/cylinder). The buyer got a 10 min test drive so knew exactly what he was getting. I made him sign it "sold as seen" so that I was not eligible for any following issues as he had more than enough time to make a decision. *EDIT* I made these known prior to test drive. */EDIT*
  8. SZ, RZ autos ('93-'96) and the RZ-S models were all 'optional LSD'. RZ 6 speeds, GZ, SZ-R and RZ-S 6 speeds were all 'Torsen LSD'. 9. My NA-TT started its life as an SZ so there is no traction control, ABS or LSD here!
  10. Hopefully in the not too distant future! When this bumper arrives I'll get everything put onto the car (wings back on, bonnet, bumper) and then I'll need to get it MOT'd. After the MOT I'll take the UK spec rear fitted and get my ass to a bodyshop and get the UK rear painted, rear quarter ding fixed, passenger wing repainted (probably) and bumper+lip painted. Then it's all fun from there

    Now then!

Welcome along Some good deals to be had through here if you're looking for a non turbo (To be picky, the non turbo engine code is still 2JZ. It's just 2JZ-GE instead of 2JZ-GTE )
  12. This is going to be ace when finished! Great car to start with and awesome turbo choice(s)!
  13. I'd rather just sell it with a dodgy engine than smash it. ...Even if I had enough money to just smash it. What an idiot.
  14. James

    My new wheels :)

They look cool. Stock but slightly less dated looking. I like
  15. Haha! I'm gutted to be honest as I really wanted to do the full Ridox. I think the main swing is that I'd rather get the car going again and it look stock than it be Ridox'd and sitting there mocking me while I recoup money for everything else (general life included haha! )! I'm happier now than I was a while ago about it though that's for sure!
  16. Ridox bumper is not happening anymore as it's still not here so I opted for an OEM instead with the RMM lip. Also lucked out big time as I decided I wanted to get a UK rear and MarcAB10 had a rear bumper that he got cheap which he was gonna chuck out and it turned out to be a UK spec when we checked today:- Quite happy about that! Just need to put everything together and get it MOTd and insured etc. (hopefully the passenger wing I have is salvageable too!)
  17. Aww man mega want! If they're still here when I have the money free for them (drumkit sells ) then I'll be having them! (as long as that is everything that is needed to get them working? )
  18. The skirts look like a blend between Varis (back) and Buddy Club (front). What are they?
  19. I'm sick of the police giving me hassle for having an import plate on the rear of my car (13"x6.5"). I changed it to a UK square plate at 11"x8" as that was all that Halfords had at hand when I went. It is too narrow so exposes the cut out on the J-Spec rear bumper. Not to worry I thought, can just get a 13"x8" made... The problem here (and with the 11x8) is that the 8" is too tall and you have to squeeze it into the recess to make it 'fit'. This scratches the paint on the recess. It therefore DOES NOT FIT PROPERLY. The police up here (Aberdeen) don't want to hear about why I'm therefore fully within my rights to use a standard Japanese import plate. The reason being is that they state their measurements to the minimum values (border dimensions, letter dimensions and divisions etc.) which DOES comply with the recess size. HOWEVER, to include the details of the plate provider at the bottom, the plate has to increase in height and - to date - I haven't found a company that will issue a completely legal plate which meets the constraints of the recess AND complies with all of the minimum sizing requirements of a UK square plate. The police are so arsey about it here that the officers I spoke to stated that if I have issues with the square rear that I should then just use an oblong plate at the rear. Understandably I don't want to do this as the cut out on the J-Spec bumper is big and rectangular so will be greatly exposed. My argument I wished to present was that the numberplate surrounds were a factory option and having a UK oblong plate wide enough would foul the space that these FACTORY OPTIONS would fit to. Due to all this rubbish, I'm on the hunt for a UK spec rear bumper so that I avoid the hole at the rear. This will also get rid of the foglight on the bumper and I can just re-wire the foglight into my rear clusters. Alternatively, a J-Spec that has had the hole filled would do I guess! Anyone have anything? Preferably white 040! For reference, I will use a UK oblong plate cut down to meet the minimum width (as my plate is only 5 characters) whilst maintaining the standard UK oblong height. Anyone?
  20. Ah gutted! I'm looking for a UK spec rear so I don't have the giant hole behind the plate.
  21. Is the UK rear bumper in ok condition? Colour? Price? PM me (dibbs on it if it's good!)
