  1. Well well well... 18 months and 6 days after that bump my car is back!!! While it has been off sick it has had the dash removed to replace the heater matrix, front end (bonnet, bumper with RMM lip, wing, bumper guide, crossmember) replaced, new headlights fitted, UK brakes fitted, full suspension change to OEM Bilsteins with Tein springs (coilovers were knackered), RSR exhaust replaced with the S/S version of the same and damaged Greddy 2 row intercooler replaced by an SRD 2 row FMIC. Had it's MOT today and passed fine! Delighted is an understatement! Convenient that today is so nice and sunny and that I don't have any Uni classes!
  2. Looking forward to seeing videos of this car! I remember the original threads and was massively impressed then! (not just with the engine, but the bodywork and interior too) Props to you for building something as insane! Also well done to Ryan for amazing work as ever on the EMS!
  3. I really like Urban Camo. A better pattern would be better and could work out alright I reckon. It'd need to have the bonnet done something other than matte black though - that looks really rubbish!
  4. Unfortunately I'll be working during the day, though I'm all good for the night
  5. Exactly the same happened to me! Only 2 weeks after I got the car too! Rubbish! Glad it is all fixed
  6. This is what I said to Alex's facebook post regarding this too
  7. And here is me asking you questions about your intercoolers and I didn't know it was your birthday! Haha! Take it easy dude, have a good one
  8. The brakes were done in a brake caliper paint I got from a - now closed down - local car parts shop. I'll check the manufacturer later! The spark plug cover was done in a Rover Green (I'll check which soon, it was Halfords rattle cans though! Some lacquer used too!)! My RSR exhaust unfortunately had a hole in it (mild steel), so required replacing. When I checked on here, Scott M was selling the 3.25" stainless steel version of it so I snapped that up and it arrived just the other day! Glad to retain the RSR exhaust as I loved the last one! Also got hold of some OEM Bilstein shocks with Tein 30mm lowering springs from MarcAB10 as I found my front springs to be slightly cracked on the Tein coilovers. As the Greddy 2 Row seems to be injured, I'm in the process of getting hold of an SRD 2 row FMIC to replace it. Should hopefully be with me in the very near future! Once the intercooler arrives, I'll get everything fitted and the MOT done finally! Hopefully there isn't anything else needed after that! Here is a picture with the UK brakes on: https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/263395_508864013673_339200132_256953_1941543_n.jpg
  9. Woah they look awesome! I want! Sorry for being no help and just sitting at the side drooling!
  10. I'll say it now: Happy birthday Marc Have a good one dooder
  11. I was going to say, not yet
  12. Follow this guide step by step, it is what I used for installing my boost gauge and worked perfectly http://mkiv.com/techarticles/boostguage/bg.htm
  13. Great news! I really like this car! Would LOVE a big twins conversion some day!
  14. I'm certainly happy to do that, hopefully someone would like to go for just the piping!
  15. This is 100% mine if not sold already! I take it that it is in good condition? My RSR GT (mild steel) requires replacing as the pipe has rusted through pretty bad! I can do a bank transfer if you're happy with that Scott? If it is all good then we'll square up as soon as you reply
  16. Wow, that looks excellent! I'd love it! Best of luck with the sale!
