  1. yep both suframes and all on them are comeing off, and replaced , the rear of the car was striped today and its heartbreaking because all the parts seem to be fine with no signes of stress or anything, but if its changed we no the probs solved
  2. rubber gromets. that will look hidious . take the plastic from inside the boot off cover the holes with some fiberglass resin and fill the holes at the top, then it looks nice
  3. hi im also looking for a price on the gearbox , also did you rear supension take a hit atall as i may need replace ment parts
  4. i can get them but my wholsaler dose not deal direct with toyo so unless there on offer i cant get near the net prices
  5. ill ring around some supplyers tomorrow and see what i can do for you, what sizes are you running ?
  6. oh bugger, well iv just found the gude to adjusting the camber so ill try that on the back and have the front tracked, and give that a try , if not looks like the credit card is comeing out again for parts
  7. hi all, i recently smashed a 94 na-t over a rounderbout traveling at considerable speed within the law ofcorse. amazingly even though the force managed to flatten all 4 wheels the suspension arms and wishbones dont seem to be damaged in any way , but now the car dose not sit level at the front, the rear wheel camber is verry odd ( drivers leans alot more ) the car pulls right and feels horible through corners. i have checked the bushes for play the wishbones measure up to spec and the chassis mounts are perfect , can anybody give me some advise on things to go through to try and get the supesiondand camber back to standard, its on standard suspension all around , thanks
  8. how can i contact this chap , as i need a few parts ?
  9. dose anybody know were i can get a replacement top plate for a w58? i droped the box and one of the small hoops that botls onto the selector snaped off
  10. you shouldnt need bigger injectors , im running one of my na-ts at 8psi on stock injectors and with the greddy emanage we are getting plenty of fuel in , by the way the set up looks realy nice , that engine bay is begging for a big shiny turbo
  11. yes wider tyres are worse on standing water , that was my reason for dropping to a 265, 295swould be better in dry conditiond but im looking for the best copramise for the road in all conditions.
  12. sorry it was supposed to be 1/2 inch, i have tryed many brands of tyre and i find the pirelli to be the best allrounder in terms of performance to wear rate. 28 psi is a bit softer than is reccomended but ther is alot more bite than at 36psi
  13. I own a tyre garage , buisness is slow at the moment lol
  14. as with most supras i and a friend have problems with rear end grip so i have spent all day at my workshop testing different setups for rear tyres. Previously i have had 295/30/18s on the back bu hiting boost in 2nd and third would trow the rear all over the place and off the mark was embarresing ontop of that any kind of standing water ment instant aquaplaing . the tests wer conducted using all pirelli p zero rosso tyres . first we tryed the conventional 265/35/18 and found at 50mph hiting 12inch of standing water was a lot more stable than the 295s. but the accelaration was still a problm. after tryin 255s 275s and 285s we decided to move to a 40 profile wall and the difrence was instant , running a 265/40/18 at 28psi the car bites initialy with less spin and ther was nearly no spin at the gear changes through 2nd and 3rd , so if anybody is suffering for rear end grip try a slighly bigger wall I recomennd a 264/40/18 and 28psi and you will see a noticeable difference , this test was only usefull for 18inch rims , the front tyres were 235/40/18 on throughout , this is how i pass my day , hope its usefull to somebody
  15. hpi and full under car check make sure the car hasnt been bent in half in the past, a freinds m3 was snaking before and we found the rear quarter was another car welded on ,
  16. i own a tyre bay and this is a fact that an older more experiensed tyre fitter that taught me my trade warned me about before i went it alone , so fare in just over a year of tradeing i have turned away 1 pair of tyres that were manifactured in 2001 anything older than 2 years i will not take , and if ther is anything on my shelf that is aproching that age i sell at cost to freshen up the stock , dodgy tyres are no laughfing matter.
  17. fair enoughf, i must just be in a bad mood, but nearly £7000 offends me
