  1. Genuine never came with mesh which is why your not finding any. They came with rain guards and ONLY come with a genuine bonnet.
  2. Yes do say hi and bring hovis
  3. There only rebuilt turbos. The only difference is they have steel turbine shafts vs the original ceramic's. Just run them the same as you do now
  4. Meh it was worth a shot The rest comes from my head I think
  5. Damien my friend i'm no more knowledgeable than you so if you got it wrong then so did I
  6. Fingers like lightening although I did keep it basic! It would appear my understanding of dual mass flywheels is superior to yours .
  7. Ceramic clutch - Ceramic is the friction material the clutch is made of, usually found on uprated street discs. 6 puk - 6 Puk is a type of clutch with 6 paddles with 6 individual friction pads on the end of each puk. 4 puk - 4 Puk is the same as a 6 puck but with 4 paddles. Sprung - Sprung clutches have springs built in designed to absorb the shock of engagement making for a smoother gear change. Unsprung - Unsprung is the opposite of above and usually paired with a dual mass flywheel. The stock setup uses this design. Dual mass flywheels - A Dual Mass Flywheel is basically two components linked together by a damping mechanism within the secondary mass and located by the central carrier bearing. The damping mechanism is there to absorb the torque loads of the crankshaft and to help deliver a smooth transfer to the road wheels. It also dampens noise and vibration which is why when you replace the stock dual mass flywheel with a light weight version the transmission sounds like marbles rattling in a can. That's actually the transmission which makes that noise.
  8. My advice is dont touch if you dont understand. A mapper familiar with the tech would be your best bet.

    Brakes

Well in all fairness id stick with OEM disc's but if looks are what you want then perhaps try 3G discs. My personal recommendation would be Stoptech though. Id recommend Chris Wilson fast road pads. A very good pad for reasonable money. A refresh of brake fluid wouldn't go a miss either.

    Brakes

Why do you want cross grooved? What do you use the car for? What brakes do you have? UK spec or J spec?

    Ultimate brakes

Yes. K sports are BUDGET brake IMO. You want ultimate brakes you best pull out your credit card.
  14. Yes that is the front cat.
  15. The front cat wont fit but everything else should.
  16. Already? I don't understand people's logic behind building up such a car to this point, keeping it for a month or two and then sell??
  17. No they dont come as a kit. As i said the unit as far as i understand is programable and used to control and fine tune the VVTi function. Im pretty sure HKS cams have the HKS logo or a mark of some sort on them.
  18. That will be the HKS Valcon if im not mistaken. Its for controlling/tuning the vvti function of the intake cam. Id be tempted to pull off the rocker covers and see if it has HKS cams as well.
  19. Few pic's from today. Jenson did great job at stalling whilst attempting a donut although I didn't see it.
  20. Dude i cant believe your selling Beautiful car this. Worth every penny.
  21. I love this quote partly cause its not true
  22. Ill be in Manchester City centre watching Jenson Button drive round in an F1 car .
  23. And City have changed the league in that respect. No one can compete with them so unless the FA bring in such a rule, which they never will, football will be down the pan in no time.
