    Back in the game!

Bit of an update. Finaly back to, well not exactly as today my mates misses had there 3rd baby so i couldnt go get the engine from the garage. Picked the engine up at long last last weekend though Big thanks to the lads who came together and put the money together to get me this engine. Much appriciated and wont be forgotten JamieP Supraloopy Steve Spedd Dr_Doom and Neil-NA Also would like to thank rob_boi for supplying me with fresh coolant and clutch fluid. Star man Fingers crossed will get the engine in next weekend and wired up then that just leaves the trans tunnel and box to fit Whilst i wasnt doing that i started taking my spare head to bits on the kitchen table Then i realised all my tools were at work again so had to stop for now. Will be rebuilding this head in the coming months.
  2. If thats the case and you have checked everything then where could it be drawing it in?
  3. No way j After all that work i cant believe it Gutted for you On the bright side the tapping does have a good beat to it (Sorry i shouldnt joke bout such things)

    tt inlet

I dont understand whats so hard about removing a few bolts and a few pipes, takes like 2 minutes to do

    tt inlet

Easier said than done believe me. The machining and making them fit is the easy part its getting them to work properly on a car which isnt designed for them so you would need a good piggy back or full standalone and then someone who can map them in properly.

    who likes....??

A blast from the past bump but for those who like these guys there new album titled IMMERSION is being released in the coming months and there live tour in may which ill be going to myself Few previews from the live album preview show few weeks back. Seems to be more of a mix of there last 2 albums
  7. Yeah my dealer gives me up to 20% off stuff like brakes and suspension components etc... basicly the expensive stuff Saying that though its been a while since i ordered so the prices may of gone up slightly since but cant see it being by much
  8. The only groves discs id get are either rotara's or stoptech replacement disc but thats just me. Stock discs with a good set of pads is the way to go for normal road use
  9. I get uk discs £55 for the fronts £62 for the rears from my dealer

    Front end lose?

Its not to bad i suppose. Got a nice stance to it

    Front end lose?

Sounds like the frame angle was on the piss... In other words the centre line of the car was off. What you find is that if say the rear subframe is for example 15-20 minutes out from the front subframe the front will be trying to correct itself constantly which results with the steering wheel being on the cock and and the car pulling in the direction it needs to to correct itself. I see this all the time at work and you wouldnt believe how much it upsets a car such a small thing

    Front end lose?

and how low are we talking? Cant it be adjusted to ride a little higher? Glad all is well.

    ARB sizes?

Guys how much difference is there in size of a TT and a NA ARBs?? Is it enough to warrant as an upgrade or money better spent on a set of TRDs? Edit! Is there even any difference between the 2 at all as mine look pretty much the same as TT bars
  14. Wheres the fidanza clutch from? Same person?
  15. Do they do a standard type clutch that isnt a 6 puk? Definatly going to need a decent 1 as i doubt it will survive for long!

    Service

Well if its been recommended fore the car then yes but I just use parts direct from toyota as there pretty much the same price

    Service

Fuel filter isn't in either, its an in line filter. Its located on the passenger side towards the the engine Can't miss it realy, just follow the fuel lines if you can't see it. Yes I use 5w 30s or 10w 40s when I go on the track

    Service

For the same price you pay for the sikolene you could get motul 8100 oil which is what I use.

    Service

A good percentage of that is usualy covered in a service. There's a good reason why 90% of the other stuff isn't done at any garage. Its down to being not cost effiecent both to the customer and the garage. A proper go over like what's in the manuals takes the best part of the day, that's a lot of hours labour for 1 and a ramp tied up for a day which for a busy garage isn't a good thing but if they were to do everything by the book you would have 1 hell of a bill. The only way to get that service is with an independent specialist end of.
  20. I was actualy thinking more along the lines of the bigger cam gives stronger exhaust pulses or am i getting this mixed up with something else
  21. Question does come to mind as to why go with a staggered cam setup rather than matching cams.. Never realy understood as to why go with a higher lift exhaust cam, i mean does it actualy make that much of a difference ?
  22. Then up the fuel ... seriously thats all that yours is missing now.
  23. How much more has the 67 got to give though? i would of thought it be reaching its limits at 730
