  1. Aye, I felt the closest we came to winning it was the 07/08 season and that was when United were much better. 08/09 was a disaster. When Hodgson took over the first few games look promising but now it's looking even worse than last season. I'm surprised that Torres didn't leave this Summer TBH.
  2. Does it though? TG has a worldwide audience off 100Million+, surely the revenue it generates far outweighs any monies it receives from licence money. I.e. it more than pays for itself. It's been obvious that The Stig was Collins since the Hammond crash. Literary wise the book could probably have been written anonymously but would there not still be a paper trail back to Collins that would be quickly established? He's a loss to a show that's been on the decline for the last while IMO. It's far too contrived and there's less and less about cars that I would drive. I've always felt too that they look down their noses at modified cars.
  3. Got mine a while back. Cheers...
  4. Cheers mate. I've gotten results from the Maximuscle stuff but I'll try that stuff you recommended.
  5. What's your opinion on Maximuscle's stuff? Promax and Cyclone?
  6. I've looked into this and I can get my car tested based on an emissions limit of 1200ppm. My car has a full decat with a Blitz NUR-Spec. I'm wondering with this setup should I pass the emissions test no problem? What sort of emission figures can you expect from this setup, presuming the engine, fuel, lambda, etc are all sound? -Cheers...
  7. TBH mate I wouldn't bother with the bonnet, the bumper, the veilside skirts or the flip tone paint. Each to their own but if you look at the members' cars here the majority of the decent looking ones are pretty much unmolested on the outside save the alloys. I'd stick to Toyota skirts and the stock bonnet and spoiler. If you're going for a respray IMO gun metal grey is a good colour and you can't really go wrong with black either. You will see some Supras that look great with aftermarket body parts but it's hard to get it right. Too many end up looking like chav mobiles.
  8. Some fcuker bought it for £60 within an hour of SupraMan's post. So who was it then?
  9. Not necessarily, some delimiters / MPH convertors come as a single unit but others (like what I've got) are separate units so it's possible for a car to be delimited but not have the speedo/odo converted.
  10. When I've left mine for a few months without driving it I take out the efi fuse and turn the engine over a few times before starting it properly. Just to get some oil sent round.
  11. I'm looking to spend £50 NOS, not £500 My Hero Cheers mate, I've checked eBay loads of times and there's never been one there. Yer man only ships to the UK though. I've contacted him anyways, never know he might ship to Ireland for me.
  12. I've to fit a Blitz dual solenoid next week. I bought it second hand so I'm missing some of the fittings. Does anyone know what size vacuum pipe you need to fit onto the solenoid and what size is T-piece to you need to fit to the vacuum pipe at the back of the control unit? -Cheers...
  13. I was just the same I'm afraid. Heap of scrap 10 year old 1.0L Fiasco. It needed 1L of oil for every tenner of petrol you put in. Busted wishbones, wire sticking out of the tyres. I used to drive the shlt out of that thing. I dread to think what would have happened if I had a powerful car back then.
  14. Christ, you only need 45 hours in your logbook to take the test for a helicopter licence. But think how much more dangerous you would have been if you had the Supra when you were 17.
  15. +1 I've seen some rich and spoilt kids driving round in some ridiculous yokes. A system like this would cut that out. Obviously no system's foolproof but it'd make sense if you couldn't have anything higher than say a 1.6L / 100BHP until after you'd held a full licence for 2 years.
  16. That's brilliant. Personally I wouldn't change anything on the exterior save for the wheels and the exhaust.
  17. As they've said. I've heard really good reports on remapped E60 535ds.
  18. Last time I checked NFU were only taking business from the North. Plus they wanted proof that I was a part time farmer.
  19. AFAIK, you have to convert it, i.e. remove the back seats and the rest of it. Then you have to get it DOE tested. Then you can get it re-registered as a commercial vehicle. Then you insure it and after that you can tax it. People have done it but it wouldn't be for me. Say you crash coming home from a wedding wearing a suit. How're you going to explain that as commercial use?
  20. Looks nice mate. Not sure about the devil Toyota logos but apart from that it looks well tidy.
  21. I like the earlier seasons. I think it went downhill when they started introducing all the other aliens, well apart from the blonde cousin of course.
  22. Did you put your profession down as Illegal Street Racer? I've heard of a few people removing the rear seats and insuring and taxing the Supra as Commercial. AFAIK it's barely legal and I'd imagine you'd be leaving yourself open to trouble if you went that route. It is being done though and they seem to be getting away with it.
