i have an unused timming belt in the garage (stored in the original non sealed bag and its never seen sunlight) have had it about 6 years) would it be ok to use or should i get another one??

my original post was just a bit of fun, you really have taken it the wrong way, if i see a car i like ill say i like it, i paid 10 squid so i feel i have the right to and if i post a pic of my car im well chuffed if some comments on it also, your original post was for people to post pics of their alloys and thats exactly what people took the time to do for you and i think 6+ pages you done well, if someone wants to comment on a pic its their right, if you dont like it just keep lookin at the pics!

fitted the pipe and gave her her first wax in 10 years! and one of the bonnet ps this forum is costing me a fortune, new stereo, new pipe, new lights and now i want a set of new seats! will it ever end??

i like the idea of rear spats but dont like the way they come up and cover part of the quarter panel, is there such a thing as a smaller version (to deepen back end) that basically bolts on where the original plastic ones would be taken come off and dont come up over the paintwork at all?

have followed a few of the detailing threads here and have to say im very impressed with the results, i usually wash, dry and polish (autoglym) the car and thats it, my paintwork is in very good condition but having seen these threads i know it could come up better, is there any beginners guides or what would be my next stage of advancement (from wash, dry and polish) to get my car looking better??

100% correct and make sure the ply is well screwed down, the more screws the better!

id be telling fibs if i said it was now a rocket ship but can notice a very slight torque increase, the way i look at it is an NA aint a TT and never will be, i just got it cuz it looked the part.

after weeks of himing and haaing, i finally bought a hks hi power for my na sup, its ths one specially made for the na, have to say im well pleased, came in the unopened hks box, shaped foam packaging and fitted like a glove! the finish is very impressive and the sound is great, quite quiet but deep:D i fitted it in half an hour, it was so easy, only cost me £350 delivered to my door in northern ireland (sent from england).

funny that, a builder handed my 850i back to me the other day after it had fell out of my pocket and i didnt notice, im a firm believer in what goes around comes around, i few years back i seen a woman drop about £500 cash out of her pocket , i picked it up, ran after her and give it back, she near shat herself is an understatement! it was around the 20th of december, right in the mouth of crimbo!
