It's ok I get it. She will only insure me as named driver incase I need to use her car, I will be driving her care very rarely because I like the power of a Supra over a 1.2 Vauxhaul Corsa any day

Yeah I get that, the thing is I don't want to have the car insured on my insurance if I end up getting penalised i.e. higher premium for the Supra. At same time I don't want to insure the Car in my name for a month or two elsewhere then have hassle of changing it over to her :s

Might give my insurance a call and see what they say.

Yeah I know but direct line won't touch my Supra because of the kit etc..... plus I am told if I insure another car my insurance is likely to go up too (not sure if that's true though)

Our Daughter is 17 next month and we are going to buy a Car this weekend. Now I am not quite sure how to work this with Insurance. She wants to insure the car in her name from beginning to build up no claims etc. and have me as a named driver so I can use the car but as far as I understand she can't insure the car until she is actually 17 and has her provisional? I want to take her out to an abandoned airfield near where we live before her birthday, can I drive the car and be covered by my own fully comp insurance or is that only if her car is insured at the time. i.e. if the car isn't separately insured is my insurance not valid either to drive it? Advise appreciated (*just realised I miss spelled insurance in title, my bad)

Is anyone here watching the new Season of CSI NY on channel 5 at the moment?? We started watching the new season about a month ago and last night we watched episode 4 in which one Lady of the CSI Team appeared that actually died in the last season. Having got confused my daughter looked into it online and found out that in fact the last Season we saw last year, which finished on a cliff hanger, was Season 5, yet the Season they are showing now is Season 4. But these had not been shown before and we haven't seen any of them. That's totally confusing really, as in the last season like I said one of the CSI's died, another two CSI's got together and had a Baby, now all of this hasn't even happened yet. And we did wonder why we never got to see what followed on from the last seasons finale. Wonder if channel 5 have realised they showing us the wrong season as they are claiming it's season 6 we are watching but it totally isn't.

We have moved this year and have a massive double oven cooker and ceramic Hob which is somewhat wasted on me as I love to eat but hate to cook. But my mate who is a great cook is so keen to let loose in my Kitchen I offered for them to come to ours as long as he did the cooking, long story short he agreed and we will be having a 8kg Turkey along with all the trimmings between 8 of us. Yum, can't wait
