As he does to me, I sometimes admit to people I love my Binx more then Humans lol. Still waiting for the Vet to call back to let us know if the fluid on his lungs is just liquid or blood. If it is blood it is bad news Yes I would expect they have. I wish I had insurance for him now too, but heyho I would give everything for him if it means he will live.

I am not sure that would be to great an idea, our Cat is extremely sketchy around strangers and petrified of other Animals so he will be highly stressed at this point already, me going in there then leaving him again would only make that situation worse.

Well the verdict from the Vet is in and I am in bits, he has a ruptured diaphragm and will need surgery which is risky to say the least so the Vet said. So now we faced with the question of letting him be operated on and possibly not make it?? Or let him go (he is only 3). Has anyone ever heard of this happening to a Cat and what the prognoses/outcome was??

I don't normally worry to much as my Cat is very shy and very,very scared of Cars so normally he stays well away from the Road, so I can only assume he was either chasing or be chased to be near it

I feel sick as hell right now. My Cat was hit by a Car in the early Hours this morning. I let him out at 4am and he rushed in and collapsed onto the floor at 7am struggling to breathe (panting), drooling and clearly in pain. No external injury's were visible, other then the claws on 3 of his Paws are shred, but he was clearly in pain and shock. Rushed him straight into the Vets where they checked him over and hoped he is only in shock rather then have any internal injury's and asked me to ring midday to see how he is doing. Well I just phoned and they said he is about to go have some x-rays (why wait so long?) and to ring back in an hour or so. Upon asking how he was doing they tell me no change to this morning but not worse..........what does that mean exactly?? I am worried sick now as they didn't reassure me one bit with that

Can someone tell me if somewhere on the Forum there is a schematic for the Exhaust system as I lost part of mine on the Motorway today, it's some kind of Heat shield from near the front section, right below the driver site seat area. I picked up the part in the hope it might be able to be welded back on. Thanks

Hubby was in the Forces meet him in a Pub in Germany 19 years ago, he is still around so I am doing something right. Or is that because I followed him to his Hometown hmmmm......

Hubby just got himself another Moped which he uses to get to work with on a daily basis. Now this Moped has no Tax, MOT or Insurance just yet and is at present at the Bike shop as it wants a few repairs, plus MOT. The question I need answering is how can I get this Vehicle Taxed and Insured when firstly I will surely have to send of the Log book away to get it into his name right?? But without that how can I tax it?? The Bike will have to be on the Road from next Saturday and his old one will be scrapped. How best to proceed?? I would really appreciate some advise here

Yay Supe passed MOT not a problem, got front Brakes done though as they was getting low. And I now have a "CORRECT" Odo reading recorded on the new certificate too

Took the Car in tonight and spoke to my Mechanic/MOT tester and he said it's no issue at all as the previous one from year before clearly states ony 52000km, he will put the accurate km on the new certificate tomorrow

I am taking the Supe for it's annual MOT shortly and just got out the MOT certificate from last year. On scanning over the certificate I noticed that it reads just slightly over 117000 miles on the odometer and I have no idea how the hell they came to that conclusion given the car is in KMH and when I took it in last year it had around 58000km (sounds they just doubled the figure) on the Odo and now only shows 67900km (just over 42000 miles). It only had just over 31000 miles on the clock when we bought it two years ago. Now I know you will probably say I should have checked it when the MOT first got done last October but I didn't. Is this going to be a problem or can it be fixed ?? i.e is this logged on the system so when I come to selling it I might get accused of having clocked it??
