From the beginning of March, motorists wishing to enter the designated city-wide green zone will have to buy a sticker to display in their vehicle. But the system operates a four-tier classification based on emissions and only cars in the three lowest groups are eligible for a sticker. The worst-polluting cars are simply banned. Those for which emissions data is unavailable – such as classic and vintage models – face a decision based on age. In Stuttgart, petrol examples registered before the start of 1993 are excluded from the zone. If a similar scheme was implemented in UK towns, it could force many cars that are currently regarded as classics off our roads. The deadline for joining the petition is 18 March, and at the time of going to press more than 20,000 protesters had already signed up. I got 2 infraction points for using the word tw@ts, but have seen other threads were it was used and not edited etc. I thought a simple warning would have been appropriate, but hey life goes on.

Similiar thing happened to me a few years ago. Come to a set of traffic lights and noticed a vectra full load 5 of them. They started revving there engine as to race but i did not bother and then they stayed behind me for about a mile until i floored it and left them behind. Anyway i got to a big roundabout..Darmouth circle in brum and was waiting at traffic lights with no other cars around and did not notice this same car roll up just behind me as they had switched there engine off. I was too busy adjusting my radio and like a idiot had my window half down and door lock open. As i looked up 3 of them had surrounded my car and were trying to open my doors,one on my door which i was exchanging blows with. Thank god the rest oy doors were locked and i managed to lock mine. The Ba...stard on my door had his arm through my window and would not let go of my door lock pin, so i put the car in first and grabbed him by his forearm and drove of through the lights and then hit my anchors near AB fletchers store at around 35 mph and u should have seen this mu....tha fcuka fly and cut all his arm and the side of his face on the tarmac. I then out the car in reverse and i swear if the was not a lorry coming from behind he would have lost his legs, but amazingly he got up and jumped in the vectra and were gone. Police said vectra was a stolen car as well. Mate, at least u still got your car and sent him back empty handed feeling like a pr...ck. I had a few bruises as well! Since then always had doors locked and blaxjack.

Local car spares shop. 5mm will be fine on standard studs. My mate who is a drifter has run 10mm on standard studs but i would'nt recommend that personally.

What we need is petrol dealers insteads of drug dealers lol! More profit in this than drugs these days me thinks. I really hope something happens so the gov't lose out big time, don't know what though!

If u r a t mobile customer than take notice if this. I just upgraded my phone with them and am on flex 35 tariff, so get £180 worth of call allowance every month. Yesterday i ring up to see how much allowance i have left and am amazed that i have £43 call charges when i still have £90 credit left. I ring them today and ask for what i have been charged then they give me some bo..ocks about my upgrade and how my new plan dont start till a certain date so i have been charged for all calls during this period.....none of this was mentioned when i upgraded. My point is that i am on the same tariff at the same price and only upgraded my phone and not my price plan yet they have the cheek to charge me for calls which should be included. Luckily for me, i am still within my 14 day period so will be returning the phone and cancelling my contract with them as if i had not checked then i would have been trapped for another 18 months. So technically if i return my handset then they will have to put me back on my original plan so the £43 call charges will be included in that so i will not pay them. Great customer service......not......i return handset, cancel contract and they lose a customer. So be aware before u get a nasty suprise.

Me also, if it is open to other cars i don't mind bringing my m3 down.

Where abouts are u mate? Woud'nt mind a peep. Have you thought about a single turbo as that would free up some space and the 4.2 v8 should spool the turbo nicely.

Personally i would stay with turbos and do something along them lines. Supercharger you will be going in head first if no one else has done it and so u dont know what that cost/results of that will be. Also pushing the block to its limits will be risky business as they ain't gona be cheap if something goes wrong. What about the value of the car with supercharger? 30k for manifolds is a joke, i'd rather buy the equipment and make them myself LOL! You could always do a engine transplant for that amount and supercharge another engine etc.

Then the Gov't will raise the duty on that when everyone is using it! No real way of getting around the problem, see how they made people buy diesel's and then raise the price. We need a rebellion or something cause this will just get worse and all owners of big capacity engines will suffer.....not that the Gov't care.

Hello from birmingham, only 10 mins away( erm..maybe 30 for some).

Hey , i got some the other day and thought it was a good thing first and then realised what they were for. And on this subject of religion, i am muslim and class myself as a British muslim NOT pakistani muslim. I was born here and bought up in this society and do not really have a problem with what was said in that speech. The speech should apply to ALL immigrants and yes they should learn the langauge and ways of the country they decide to live in. I say it myself to people i meet from time to time who moan about this country is wrong and trying to do this and that and tell them if u dont like it or u want to live differently then stop rinising the benefit system and move some where else. I get fed up myself with the welfare system and how easy it is to get handouts which come from hard and overworked british people. There is endless number of grants for immigrants and constant we should do this and that and the gov't has forgot the people that were born here. It's too late now as there are too many immigrants here already and draining the resources of this country. Like i said before i was born here and i want to leave here and go somewhere else in the world soon as i have the funds to do so.

Just clocked this thread now and can not believe what i am reading. After all the hassle u been through and finally back on the road this really sucks. At least your alright and cars can be fixed but it is bad news, really feel for you mate. I went through a similiar sito with one of my previous cars where i ended up buying 6 different engines as almost everyone i got from breakers was knackered, and when i finally got a good engine and had spent way more then the car was worth 2 days later a volvo drives straight into the back of me and rit me off. I spent 2k replacing engines and got paid 1k from insurance for the car!
