  1. emu, stand alone management just waiting on a few more sensors to arrive, air intake temp 6x bosch coils so I won't have to worry about an igniter anymore an8 fuel system parts some more of the clutch after I collected it conversion plate aeromotive fuel pressure reg tial 50mm bov lastly, the new precision gen2 ball bearing 5858 turbo, smaller for instant spooling basically, I don't want lag! possibly will go to a 6262 depending how this gets on
  2. arp head studs brian crower springs and titanium retainers new clutch kit, twin disc new 'second hand' gearbox bought some 800cc sard injectors block parts, pic from marcin 2jz gte oil squirters machined into the ge block, also the oil feeds to match, block is now identical to the gte cp forged pistons on stock ge rods, no need for forged rods with the power level's I'm aiming for since the stock rods can take up to 800+ hp 6 boost manifold, t3 twin scroll, two wastegate ports two new turbo smart wastegates factory style oil feed in the block bit concerned that marcin hadn't decked the block, he said to just use a stanley blade and scrape the surface. don't really like that idea arp studs
  3. hi, I text you back saying I'd like some pics not sure if you got it, I have a potential buyer coming on Friday to take my Hyundai away so fingers crossed.
  4. hello, I'm interested in this, do you have any pics of the bay etc? I'd like to see more I also am curious to see pics of the damage before it was replaced if you have any? any chassis movement or was it just cosmetic? anything else still need fixed from the bump? is the slam panel straight?
  5. hi guys, I've decided after many years of considering it, that i'll bite the bullet and buy a supra now I've got my s14 silvia for fun track days and so on but I just have to get myself a supra, even if it's just an n/a for now.... currently building a 2jz ge block for the car using cp forged pistons and so on.... any around for sale? mileage ideally below 100k, open to almost anything really....I currently have my daily Hyundai luxury 4x4 comfort spec mobile for sale if anyone would be interested in a possible px too then let me know as I'd be happy to swap providing the car is right my mate cheesebert (Robert) from Aberdeen just sold his n/a last week as he didn't know I was after one unfortunately so I missed out on a local car not sure if I'm allowed to do this but if anyone wants to px too just let me know, here is some pics of the car, 88k miles, long mot, timing belt and all service items done in last 5 months, brake shoes, bushes etc, everything has been done as I'd intended on keeping it for a long time she's a beauty, also has the two seats in the back making it a 7 seater when needed https://www.gumtree.com/p/hyundai/hyundai-santa-fe-cdx-7-seat-diesel-manual-2.2-crdi-tow-bar-4x4-jee/1158129970 anyway guys, back to supra's, I know this Is a long shot but if a vvt-I n/a was available that would be a bonus anything is considered I'm up in Aberdeen but willing to travel obviously, thanks jonny.
  6. reason I've gone factory compression is I don't know how much smaller the 1jz head combustion area is yet so I was concerned I'd put that on and have a really high comp ratio I was going to have it measured by the head shop to compare my size against a 2jz head and work out cr that way hopefully also the head will be skimmed a fair bit and the block decked too so that'll take off a small amount too
  7. Deposit taken for full setup inc my r154 gearbox and clutch etc. provisionally sold now.
  8. My 2jz ge block is now at marcin's in Dundee, mac motosport he's supplying forged cp pistons 8:5:1 ratio and all the new bearings/arp bolts etc the head is down at bret sims motorsport having a full port and opening up job including shimming the bc 264 cams into the head, also I've bought a set of bc valve springs and titanium retainers, along with new Toyota valve stem seals etc new crank pulley showed up oem gasket set Toyota parts starting to bulk up . oem squirters and bolts new cam sensors, crank sensor, thermostat, ecu temp sensor and so on second hand jzx90 front sump being cleaned up vvti water neck more to come soon!
  9. looking for a 2jz vvt engine with as much stuff on it as possible please exhaust manifold is not needed
  10. is RC the make? I'm interested as I'm in the market for 1000cc injectors just now for my 1jz / 1.5jz build any pics? what size are they as I've not bought a rail yet so can be 11 or 14mm etc
  11. going to be moving onto a 1.5jz engine with a forged ge bottom end also I've ordered a new 6boost manifold for the new engine with a few differences for two wastegates and so on so no point in me keeping this manifold and modifying it as it would be a shame to cut it up and destroy the heat proof coating etc also will be moving onto a larger turbo I think since I'm going up to 3.0 displacement
  12. so, bought a new Toyota oem crank pulley and a new Toyota oem 1jz head gasket set, went for the 1j gasket as it fits the head better, I do have another 1j head gasket but It was almost as cheap to import a full gasket set from japan, as it was to buy a full set of new stem seals from Toyota uk the head I had has now gone to someone else and I've received his head back plus some money in exchange to cover me for the work I had done + new steam seals so the new head now will be going to a specialist for porting and polishing, multi angle valve seat job, hot tanked for cleaning, port matching, manifold and head gasket mating surfaces skimming, new valve guides and a few other things oh also all the shims set for the 264 cams I've got so I'll get a head back that will probably flow just as much, if not more than a stock 2jz head
  13. been parts collecting recently new oem Toyota 2jz timing belt, tensioner and pulley also bought a new Toyota crankshaft pulley, new Toyota 1jz head gasket kit and a few other bits swapping over cylinder heads with my mate so I get some money back that I put into my head as I've decided now that I want to port out the cyl head and have as much flow/gains as possible, so rather than risk marking a perfectly good skimmed head and stripping all the freshly ground in valves, I'd just do a px with him so we are both happy as he needs his head skimmed anyway
  14. i see, thanks for the tips! reason I need one is I was considering using a 350z gearbox conversion and it requires the stock flex plate to be there for the starter to turn the engine, then has a spacer for the 350z conversion flywheel however I'm still unsure weather to go down the 350 route or buy a v160 (which will be twice as expensive)
  15. Item:- black cloth recaro recliner sr2/speed bucket seats Condition/Mileage:- near on mint...fag burn on driver seat, nothing at all ... Price:- £550 o.n.o Postage:- courier is no problem. I'd use interparcel.com for a quote then pick whatever me/the seller agree on weather we split costs etc, collection is also fine from Aberdeen, Scotland Pictures (and some info) doing this now so they are up for sale, I'm happy to hold out for a while, I'm not expecting to sell them just now as it's only a few days till xmas however at least the ad is online and people can see it these are the model of seats, commonly found in mitsubishi evo's, honda type r's, supra's, gt4 Celica's etc, no signs of the notorious bolster saag and cloth wear standard recaro base fitment one seat has a fag burn but nothing serious, not done by me as i don't smoke, it's very small, i can hopefully have the mrs stitch it up before the seats go can be seen on the right hand see at the bottom in this pic note, they do not come with my harnesses, they are staying for the next seats i'm using fit neatly around the cage driver side bolster, clean fag burn on driver seat pic with flash on to show fag burn, barely noticeable tbh, flash brightens it up Passenger Side: PLEASE NOTE, I HAD A 2L BOTTLE OF WATER LAID ON THE SEAT FOR A FEW DAYS BEFORE I TOOK THE PIC, THAT SPONGE ON THE BACK REST HAS SINCE POPPED BACK OUT TO NORMAL Passenger Bolster again, minimal to no wear
  16. Ah I see well I'd be happy with a turbo flex plate and washer does the n/a flex plate have the same pcd at the back of the crank as a turbo model?
  17. Ah ok. I'm after a TT plate What's the differences ?
  18. It's just the hassle of then finding a second r154 to replace with etc. then it would need the shifters and bel housings swapped over Etc Too much messing around and the car would be off the road. Do it once, do it right is something I've learned the hard way haha The 350z boxes and Colin's conversion kits look good too but finding the strongest model of 350z box is harder to find. v160 is more money plus a lot for a clutch and flywheel setup too. Ashloy's yeah I did haha. I keep smashing my spats with tyre Delmas. I've spoken to Fraser stark and a few of the other boys using a bmw box but they all say that abc are testing new designs just now and no further info yet :S I won't bother with an e39 box as thinking about it, it's a silly idea
  19. Hi. Stupidly threw mine in the bin Looking for a Stock jz auto flex plate and washers
  20. The only thing I've heard this that abc are having a few issues with the bmw box conversion kits just now and are currently testing a new set. People are saying the E39 m5 Getrag box is the same as a v160 but surely the bel housings are different ?
