  3. cheers, dont think there the cheapest, i just need to have a look around the net for the best price, although argos price is not to bad, richie
  4. Right, narrowed it down to either of these 2 camera's i have read all the reports on them and there is not much separating them from what i can gather, i know the price can be beaten shopping around links are just for ref. quick question on the nikon though, will my normal photo editing suite be compatible? I have adobe elements and picture manager. Going to be used for starting out in the DSLR photographic enjoyment. 5. That is really quite shocking, goes to show what you guys have to put up with, people are more than happy to bad mouth you and slag you off but that shows the reality of dealing with scum and what could of been a very different and nasty outcome. Hats off to you. Richie
  6. Sounds more like it, it would of been nice to of thought that they came from a big cat but looking at pics from the net and views on here i don't think it is. i will have to keep my eyes open though because there are only 2 people allowed to walk the fields that's me and next door neighbour, so someone is out there with a sodding big dog! next question i ask is why? i live in the middle of no where!!!!!!! great:(
  7. No i have a cat and i am sure its not the same pattern as these, i have 2 labs which have big feet but these seemed huge, St Bernard or Newfoundland maybe?
  8. I am not sure, i hope to god there not i am trying to find pics on the net now, might have to reconsider my walking route!
  9. Was walking my dogs this evening over the field at the back of my place and came across these foot prints, there not from my dogs there to big, there is no public footpath over there, it private farm land, and even the owner does not walk it, the next door neighbour has a small dog so not his. he has lived there 7 years now and has never seen anyone walking over there as it just the edge of a field. So does anyone have any idea as to what they can be? they look reasonably fresh, i've put the 50p there for reference, it was not left there:) Sorry about pics not been the best it was from my camera phone Richie
  10. was not me, i dont even have any cards richie
  11. http://www.tritalk.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=53477 This appeared on the tri site tonight, might be of use to you, its a problem a few people are having with the 50. Richie
  12. pleased you like it, i am looking at the 405 at the moment it has a few more things that i need. So its all go now then for you? you now know next time you go out you'll be wanting to push that little harder to see when you get back if you beat previous sessions!! it will get addictive. Enjoy Richie
  13. Supplementary bonding is what you are lacking by the sound of things, have a look see if all your pipe work is bonded to each other, which in turn should be bonded back at your incoming mains from the fuse board. Is it a new build or an old house? richie
  14. I Didn't, but someone that values what we do did.
  15. Yes we did know that we would be fighting, but that is not what this is about, this charity is about looking after people when they come home, those that cannot fend for themselves, need rehab and help to get on with life minus various limbs, The government turns a blind eye to the realities of war so its charities like this, funded by the public that enable forces members to to get back to work and try and lead normal lives, so to say that there is a difference is questionable.
  16. In of topic so therefore anything goes in what threads are started, i cannot see what reference you are making to it been a squaddie forum? no one said it was. What charities you decide to give to is not been called into question is it? what I said was, was there any need to publicly say that you rate the welfare of the armed forces lower than children and OAP's because of the job we do?
  17. You are quite correct in that, but when we signed up we took an oath of allegiance to protect this country, however Iraq and Afgan are different wars. So to ask for a little support when we come back injured is surely not to much to ask is it? maybe it is in some peoples eyes, although i can not see how it differs from what you mentioned, we did not ask to go to these places and be blown up, shot and suffer all sorts of injuries. We signed up to protect THIS country not some oil state, but that is going away from the topic of this thread. As i have said above if you felt you needed to post in here then why try and and cause offense?
  18. Not really a case of that is it? comments like "there are many that I would rate above this" do not need to be put on a forum that has a lot of serving and ex army forces guys on it, a simple "not this time" would of been more acceptable. But to publicly say that you rate this cause low quite low is out of order.
  19. cheers mate, will pass that on to my guys serving abroad that they are thought about like that. Richie
  20. first one of the storm is now my screen saver, some very good pics richie
