  1. I do a lot of work in Schools and if I'm leaving at "going home" time, loads of the kids see/hear the car and usually part like the Red Sea to let me past...thumbs up and all that. Very nice.
  2. Just watched it and for me, a nice piece of entertainment

    sensible cars?

Just picked up my Vaxhaul Astra Turbo Diesel for £700...it's ace, no thrills, as you say and 55mpg See my garage.. I'm sure with your budget, you could do even better.
  4. Bought mine in 2000 for £14,600 with 15,000 miles on clock Mods wise...spent nothing...until the other week...new UK brakes F&R, discs, lines, fluid, pads etc! (£1100)
  5. Glad I went last night and was nice to meet some of the names on the forum. Got in an 'Evo-Supra-Starlet' sandwich at the lights on the way home... I let them go because I don't know the roads, didn't like the conditions and I'm rubbish at drag racing...got home in time to smoke my pipe and have a lovely foot bath though
  6. I see Wolfesbane are doing some support dates soon, now Blaze Bailey... there is one dedicated metalhead, he was the best period of Iron Maiden imho. I sat next to Blaze at a martial art's demo in Wolverhampton back in 89/90....unsurprisingly he was not sober
  7. Saw Crowded House last Tuesday at Royal Albert Hall....Great vibe...it's like seeeing your mates play

    My new run around...

I'm pleased with it....should save a few quid in fuel too as I want to go BPU, Body mods and new wheels for supe next year
  10. Ok, here she is...just in time for Xmax too! 1.7 TDS Astra...lovely (55mpg though) and all for £700 This has been long over due, as I've been using the supe as a daily driver for last 2 years.
  11. I looked in to this recently...it's gonna cost thousands to do properly, but good luck

  14. ...I've mentioned this before on another thread, but Hammond is definately transforming into Mark Owen, with his ever expanding cheeky boy band hair! Still watch TG though! Nice way to round off sunday evening, or prime yourself with it, then nip out for a pint!

    U.FO's

Well back to the thread then...I saw one (UFO) hovering just above horizon and below the sun in the early evening in 1979. I don't believe it was an alien craft (I hoped it was, at the time) but we reported it to the MOD. They replied with a letter saying they didn't know what it was. A fairly unspectacular ending then
  18. Great question...I think a combination of B & C as has already been suggested. You'll get your Porsche no doubt at some point anyway... Morocco is also an up and coming BUY TO LET market: £40,000 for 2 bed apartment etc... And perhaps within a few years ...all 3 choices could be yours....B and/or C first though. Good luck Also ...pay off mortgage really fast??? Well how about if not 'Really fast'...just faster? Knock off 3 or 4 years here or there, plus do your other stuff !!

  20. This is taken from the ebay site..... Off eBay & Grey Market Transactions Always remember to complete your transaction on the eBay website - it's the safer way to trade with others. eBay's rules prohibit use of our system to solicit others to buy or sell items "off eBay."
