  1. Happy birthday Jamie. There are still technically 12 minutes or so of it left
  2. The man is probably a bit p*ssed off with Terry I should imagine. I guess the Diana look-a-like hasn't had much work in the last 10 years either. I also note they can't spell (Gordon) Ramsay properly either.
  3. Is that from your private collection and if so, do you have any more?

I thought you meant you wanted to get them off a car. Yeah!!! You actually want to put them on one, dont you? Boo!!!
  6. Being taller than a midget isn't that hard, but I take your point.
  7. I thought the double peddle work was very good. It's not my thing, but overall you sounded good.
  8. He was lucky the schnozzers pulled him there and then. He was heading toward a tall bridge and it turns out he was frightened of (gesund)heits.
  9. Yeah. I nose what you mean. I shall stop now. Probably. Ooh you're good
  10. If you don't mind, I might grab my phlegmenco catarrh and write a song based on this.
  11. Player the lottery is really a tax on the stupid. I don't believe I won anything yesterday btw.
  12. Excellent. I have taken your advice and from now on I shall push down on the lever. I've tried it and it has made my toilet flush. Thanks. All that's left to do is finish my bag of smack and then I shall have a go at the toilet seat. It's gone yellow and I'd like to restore it back to original condition. Will I need grommets for this? (Sorry to the OP)
  13. Mostly pish. But with a surprising and welcome coriander aftertaste.
  14. Sorry for the hijack, but any ideas on how to make my toilet flush? Rubber grommets or somat?
  15. Molluscs? No sir. It was about dwarf tossing and buffoon baiting. Well I thought so but I didn't finish...
  16. Even though you didn't read it all, I will congratulate you for clicking on the link - it must have been...traumatic. You know, as in decison making like...shall I shan't I click? What will I find if I do? Will I like it? Will I read it? That kind of thing. Let's not forget too the actual physical action of hand upon mouse required, the poise and commitment of a solitary finger etc...Shame about the dog dying though.
  17. Coincidence? You be the judge.
  18. I think 3 different exposures is pretty much the norm, 1 to 2 stops apart. Did you use the self timer when taking your shots? Even though you may be on a tripod, it can be easy to press too hard on the button. In addition to the self timer idea, you could turn you image stabilzation to off, given you're using a tripod.

    Camera help

Make sure your take shots of colourful things I see your supe is silver, so not the most vibrant of colours. Perhaps you could park it up somewhere colourful? Set your in-camera settings to Vivid Colour, or Warm etc Try setting your white balance to Cloudy or even Shade setting - These can help bring out the colour. Also using a polarising filter can help saturate the colours a bit more. One more thing, consider adjusting your exposure compenastion down a a third, or two thirds of a stop to encourage those colours. Or put everything to automatic setting in the camera and increase the saturation slider in post production with your pc's photo editing software
  20. I was going to put a thread up the other day about coincidences but then saw yours...

    Camera help

No, mine is a bridge camera -Panny FZ28. I feel so inferior Anyway Sam, whichever camera you choose, I think taking really good photos is about your technique, steady hand and eye for compostion and/or colours etc... Do you intend to buy different lenses and if so, which ones?
  22. I see Santander have gone over to Ferrari from McLaren. So who's going to pay for Big Ron's power lunches now?
