  1. Some detailed posts here. Very good. Although I wish one or two of you would invest in the 'quote' button option My view is similar to Jamie P's. I'd rather buy than rent (and I guess most people would) but certainly my house would be my house. The concept of paying £120,000 in rent over ten years seems absurd, £240,000 over 20 years would be absurdererer--- and even if my bought house drops in value, I still own it. It's where I live and if I profit from in years to come then great Simplistic yes, but it works for me So if I was told my house is worth £1 tomorrow - it would be annoying. It would be a shock. But - it would still be the same in every way and I'd still live there.
  2. Would that be why you're splitting with your wife then?
  3. That jar of marmite in your kitchen beckons... Please don't upload the pics though. Unless they're tastefully done, with moody lighting etc.
  4. I think 245 for the rear is a little skinny. I used to have those on the front. 265/275 seem to be the norm with others running 285s +
  5. To be honest I was proud of my A-reg white 1.0L metro with white body kit - I had personally sprayed and nailed on. With white Weller wheels and black window tints, which I painted on, but it ran, quite a lot.
  6. Perhaps you fail at the internet as you did with Mr T?
  7. Just watch out for the "buckle crunch" thing. This is where the buckle system (of your Supra) is so close to the child seat, when the belt is plugged in, it can suffer from exploding against the seat in an abrupt stop...releasing the seat etc... Does your Britax Prince do this? And does the Prince model seem too Top heavy and not anchored in...ie if you grab the top and pull it, it shouldn't move at all... We tried the Prince and found that it suffered from both of these issues. I'd be interested to hear. So yes, it fits nicely in the bucket sat, but that was it really In the end having tried 5 or 6 seats, none of them fitted or were satisfactory. We ended up with a Maxi Cosi and put it in the front seat. I have no front passenger airbag, so it's fine to do this. And the Mrs goes in the back... I'll throw up a couple of photos later...
  8. I thought he aimed his kind invite at Heckler. Sorry. My mistake. Aren't you on that boat yet?
  9. Thanks for doing the updates scores Trev...I think Si is busy having a baby. Anyway, I'm improving nicely and I look froward to taking the lead in the next couple of races - naturally.
  10. Yes, I recommend them. Whifbitz supplied and fitted one of their FMIC performance packs for me and it's very good value, considering the performance gains.
  11. Cutting down the samosa intake and a trip to Specsavers is in order http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=215205
  12. I think my multi 'street' lingual translator ist kaputt. What do you mean?
  13. "...I only told you to blow the bloody doors off...!"
  14. Jazz, baby, care to explain?
  15. You are correct! 3 spoke are like the new...err...3 spoke. Dreadful.
  16. It's the best I could do, you know, given the time frame and the insulting budget.
  17. I'll take the porcupine please.
  18. The op wanted to know about increasing bhp for £500, but I guess chrome bits can be nice
