  1. i wasn't to happy on the colour when i bought it but i lined up some wheels against it other day and it looked about a million times better. a bit less expensive than a respray n e way...
  2. bout time i bought some wheels.... and a camera
  3. i've finally got pics of my supe. not great quality but thats a fone for ya lol.
  4. shit! i know ppl paid a lot for wheels but 2.2k!!! so ur looking around the £650+ mark then... i'l let u know mate depending on these other wheels...urs do look nice though..
  5. cheers for the info mate- i'm waiting for someone to call me back on these other wheels first before i look at any others but how much were u thinkin bout sellin them for?
  6. i'm looking at some 19"s 4 my supe and i just wondered if there is any modification needed regarding the arches- obviously low profile tires will be on the wheels

    A@£holes

i HATE people like that. some guy and his mates keyed my celica few years back and i heard them in the pub boasting bout it about 2 hours later. i told the landlord of the pub to fone the police but appently this guy had done the same to his wifes car just an hour before. so the landlord gets one of his mates to break into this guys car and torches it in the pub car park.... this guy comes screaming out pretty much in tears...especially as he had no insurance lol- still didn't pay for my key job though....
  8. thats cos its been in a gearbox garage around 6 months getting fixed and its quite far away from me and cos there only open on mon-fri i havent had the time cos of work to get any pics- got a few on my phone but it doesn't let me upload onto my pc any for some reason?
  9. yeah i'm sure its a single...something to do with the fact theres only one.... no pics until i get my car bacj i'm afraid. hopefuly in a week.

    Why?

i no its a bit ironic for a supra owner saying its going "a bit over the top" but this car hasn't just gone over the top, its plummeted down the other side and tried to be restored badly by a chav whilst taking vast amounts of XTC....
  11. i'm thinking bout de-catting my single turbo supe- how much power is it likely to produce extra?
  12. lol- really ur favourite. i think its just i havent got round to changing these horrible yokohama 3 spoke wheels with red on the inside lips.... japanese for yer... i think as soon as i get some decent wheels it might change the apperance a bit. cheers for the info.
  13. thinking about changing my supe colour from a discusting browny grey to possibly black.....or focus st orange...not sure yet. anyway does anyone know how much a job like that would cost as i have no idea?
  14. hi, getting my supra back after nearly 6 months of being fixed- gearbox broke after 3 weeks and then turned out all the transmission was from a pick-up or something... anywho its getting put in a 5 speed getrag ( i no, they never had a 5-speed getrag in original supras but i'm getting one fitted anyway pretty much with a few thousand miles on) all the transmission- clutch propshaft etc is new. the car hasn't been dyno'd but runs around 400-450 bhp on single turbo from n/a (before i bought it). problem is that it has a huge turbo lag (4500-5000rpm kicks in) the wheels are minging(some 3 spoke yokohama's) i don't know whats going on with the traction control as there is no wire going to the switch (but a strange aftermarket switch below which i don't no what does!?!?) its got an apexi (or hks, i forget) fuel management system but i don't know what its running on in terms of fuel intake etc... also the cars (i'm told rare) dark greyish brown which i hate. i no ur all prob thinking why i bought it but i had plans before i had to shread out £1000's for the work on the gearbox etc. now i don't really have the cash to make all the mods i wanted to like a respray which would cost a bomb, new wheels and a few other bits. its got a nice veilside bodykit on which in my opinion looks great but the colour really lets the whole car down. should i just get rid of it and get another supra i like or try and spend even more on it getting it the way i like it.
  15. unfortunatly i have no pics- i bought the car straight off an importer. converted from n/a to single-
  16. i'm not sure- i had the car 3 weeks before it went in to the shop and i never got round to looking at it properly- bit of surface rust and a thin metal plate was covering the (i presume) serial number etc.
  17. With my supra currently being in the shop having a transmission change... its allowed me to reflect on what i don't like about the car... mainly the single turbo lag. i'm not sure what turbo is on it at the moment as its a bit hidden with some metal plate. anyway the lag is so bad it doesn't kick in till around the 4500-5000rpm mark and makes 1st gear about a 10th of a sec of boost before the rev limiter hits... making it not that much fun in daily driving except in higher gears. any suggestions for another turbo which might be better for me. ps- cars running approx 400bhp-maybe more, i haven't had time to dyno it yet- just what the seller i bought it off said. any ideas?
  18. well to cut a long story i bought a my supra and the gearbox broke after 3 weeks then turns out it all the running gear was from a toyota hilux or something.... need new propshaft, already got getrag 5 speed gearbox. now i need propshaft and clutch.. prob an uprated one considering its punchin out over 400bhp...
  19. i'm halfway through replacing the transmission on my supra (5speed man)- i need a new propshaft but i wanna know if theres any difference between tt and n/a cos i don't want to buy the wrong one. problem is ive got a n/a engine with a single turbo conversion so if they are different would it make a difference in performance or reliability.
  20. its got an hks remapping system but i'm not sure whats its running at at the moment- i have no idea about the injectors and i think it might be a t61 turbo... not sure though as its well hidden below a few bits.
  21. basically my supras just in the middle of a total overhaul.. new 6speed gearbox, propshaft cluch + housing put in and the bodyworks being cleaned up a bit......no i didn't crash it. anyway it was N/A but now a single turbo punching around the 400bhp mark. got veilside bodykit on with super dragger exhaust and chipped with turbo timer and a few jap gizmo's thrown in. got yokohama 3 spoke wheels on, i will get pics up as soon as i get it back. the colour is in like a darkish grey- rare colour i'm told anyway. its got 83,000 miles on the clock. any ideas what i should expect to get for this?
  22. they never actually said it was 6 speed. just it was a getrag one... if its 6 speed than thats better for me on the selling front in the future
  23. yeah its not looking much of a bright future... the people who are fixing the car have already got a getrag gearbox in stock so its only getting the other parts now. think i'l sell it and get a decent 6spd tt man... if i can afford it...
  24. hi people, as some of you know my gearbox went few months back after only owning the car (supra N/A-->Single turbo conv 5spd man) for 3 1/2 weeks. finally saved up the cash to fix the gearbox and what should the mechanics find out... Not only the gearbox is totally screwed but its from a toyota pick-up with a conversion inc a pick-up propshaft and a few other bits thrown in with a different clutch housing etc. bottom line i'm completely screwed as the importer a bought it off didn't really have a clue about the car and ive got no warranty or anything. i'm in trouble...
  25. hi, just wanna know if the gearbox from the supra N/A 5-speed manual was ever used in any other toyota's. this is only cos my mate was told the other day toyota used the hilux pick-up gearbox in the supra- sounds daft to me but does anyone know?
