  1. private sale, but this guy imports quite a few cars. doesn't have a for-court or anything. if anything does go wrong he said he will be more than happy to sort me out. hopefully
  2. no its a fresh import so theres nothing on the s-history bout it. i'm taking it to a tuner who specialises in supras and skylines so he'l hopefully sort n e thing out with it. it says F-CON V so i presume it means five unless its just a pattern of some sort?
  3. the guy said low boost it was 400bhp. i haven't turned up the boost cos i don't really want to mess about with it all until ui get used to driving it a bit first. i've temparerily lost my camera at the moment so i will send in pics as soon as i've found it.

  5. Just bought my first supra today. a 400bhp fully kitted out one with more gizmo's than the millenium falcon. big turbo conversion, the works. never drove a car with a twin plate clutch so was a bit difficult to adapt at first round town but as soon as i got to the motorway.... oh my god....it was the mellenium falcon! it scared the hell outta me! i thought my integra type R was quick... i can't get around the power of this thing. i will get pics on soon as..
  6. hi, whats the widest wheel size posible to fit on a supra? i saw a skyline GTR the other day with rear wheels about 2 feet wide lol. just wondering if anyone knows any info bout them and do you need to have the same width at the front as well?
  7. I ve just put a deposit down on my first supra ive managed to find a buyer for my integra type r and now the wheels are in motion so to speak. this guy was selling an already modified 400bhp (originally N/A) one with bodykit, alloys and the works. After i got my tuning mate to check out the mods done to it and got the all clear i finally drove it and OH MY FUCKING GOD! pics will arrive soon after i get it next week....hopefully
  8. cheers. obviously the turbo's give the engine a lot more power so i take it the tt engine is like an upgrade of the na one then before turbo's were added?
  9. well the power, i heard somewhere two different engines were used but i mainly mean bhp between the two
  10. Anyone know the difference between the tt engine and the na engine spec wise?
  11. basically my dad loves his cossie so much he would never advertise any feature of it in any car mag or show etc- he's had a few cars thieved over the years and the last thing he wants is to advertise it to thievin little bastards. he had it dyno'd bout 3 years ago and was producing 970bhp @ 5600rpm. again i obviously don't have any paperwork to prove this but u can believe what u want to believe really.
  12. no seriously the cossie is currently running at 890 bhp with the boost turned down, approx 1000bhp at full whack- cossie engines are one of easiest modded engines but ppl don't realise it. it was a lambourghini murcilago the evo was keeping up with- well.. until the lambo span out... a saxo seems a bit of a step down from an integra r...
  13. i was going to supercharge my integra but it wheel spins at 220bhp anyway so 400bhp at the front wheels would be ridiculous and undriveable. after much thought i think i'l prob by a twin turbo supra and see how it is and maybe upgrade turbo's later on but not to a stupid undriveable level- any one know any kind of turbo kits that would match an evo FQ400?
  14. ok this ain't a wind up tom lol. basically the reason is for the ridiciously unneccesary amount of power is because my dad keeps buying performance cars- 1000bhp escort cossie and an evo FQ400.... ridiciously quick cars and i've been trying to top it. To let ppl know ive got mates (mechanics and tuners) who will do all my installations for next to nothing so its only buying the parts which will cost the cash. if it did all work out the supra would do 0-60 around the 3 sec mark- probably shredding the tyres aswell in the process...
  15. cheers peoples, prob is i'm only 21 and unless i can get away with saying a jap imports a uk spec to the insurance company theres knowone who will insure me on an import til i'm 25- i have an integra type R at the moment and its nippy and all but i want a proper supercar performance
  16. Cheers, i don't have to be 6-speed manual cos i know they are expensive. i've sort have a budget of round 10k inc the turbo mods so i might have to stretch it on the milage a bit- i heard there good for 200k miles but with really powereful mods i'm not sure how much the engine could take
  17. Hi, ive decided after a long wait for my insurance to go down, to buy a supra...then i got 3 points in my integra type R.... but then i thought ^x@x -it! I'l get one n e way! I wanted a UK twin turbo in manual with miles under 80,000 around the £4-8000 mark with no or simple mods, so its really difficult to find one. My plan was to buy a HKS T51R KAI (single turbo conversion kit) and obviously other performance mods to support it. I wanted to know is it worth buying a much cheaper non turbo supra and just installing the same upgrades. Is the non turbo the same as the twin turbo spec but with two turbo's thrown on or is there much more that was changed? i just don't wanna buy a twin turbo for a lot more then realise that its the same after i take the turbos off. Any advise would be greatly appreciated, cheers
  18. cheers for the advice, all the supras i've found with single conversions have either massive milege on them or are priced at over 12 grand and have huge bodykits on, not a bad thing but i'd like to sort the styling out myself
  19. Cheers peeps, i would send pics of the teg but its in the shop getting valated ready for selling so expect pics this weekend. the only reason i'm selling it (apart from the hunger for more power) is that i bought it off my mate for dead cheap and being in super mint condition and only covering 29000 miles from new (2000) i can get about 9-10k for it so now is the time to get something else.
