  1. it was literally just imported so all modifications were annoyingly enough done in japan and the guy who sold it to me didn't really have a clue as he sold it to me for just under £7000. it was one of those moments i like to call "bought on impulse" so now i'm regretting it as i haven't got a clue what its running like and its got japanese logo's all over the engine bay which most mechanics would stay away from... i had just sold my integra type R and i saw 400bhp+ below supra and i had to have it...idiot. i live in kings langley hertfordshire mate.
  2. hi peeps, before ppl ask i haven't got any pics of under the bonnet cos my supras having a complete gearbox rebuilt so i can't get at it at the moment.... n e way, when i bought my supra it was originally an N/A but now with a single turbo conversion and all the usual add-ons to go with- intercooler air filter exhaust etc... the guy i bought it off claims it was running approx 400+bhp and to be quite honest i wouldn't have thought it would be far off it as i keep up with my dads evo fq400. just wondering if anyone knows what sort of turbo would be used to generate that kind of power cos the turbo casing covers the name and is a bit rusty so i can't make out anything. n e ideas?
  3. cool, just went online and bought speedo conversion chip and speedo dial- hope it works
  4. cheers mate- i looked on ebay but wern't sure how good they were. the speed limiters been taken off as i got up to roughly 170mph and backed off but i don't think i'l be doin that n e time soon...
  5. anyone know where to get some uk dials or jap to uk speedo converter. my supras hopefully back on the road at the end of the week but dials are all km so it aint the easiest to see how fast ur going. especially when the needle skips past all the kmph completly. any ideas?
  6. only 5-speed completly rebuilt (next week) . was goin to go for 6 speed but was a bit out my budget so as i might sell it it wern't that much of an issue. was a N/A supra which explains the low power gains from a single turbo.... well 400bhp aint exactly slow lol.
  7. its like a dark like brown grey, rare colour and not a respray. i think the wheels are yokohama (my wheel caps got thieved the day i bought it) but there like 3 spoke (two split spokes on each main one)
  8. hi people. got a 1995 supra with full veilside bodykit, super dragger exhaust screamer pipe, was N/A but converted to single turbo punching 400bhp with about a million extras under the bonnet i'm not sure what they are cos their all jap parts. got hks (or apexi, can't remember) ecu remapping system, gearbox being completly re-built next week and car has approx 83,000 miles on the clock. jap import so no history. no idea how much it is worth as i'm getting a house and might have to sell. will post pictures as soon as i can. bodywork is in good condition any ideas
  9. because i never bought the car off ebay i can't track the listing. i never bid on it either so its not under any previous options so i'm a bit stumped at the moment. i just need to find some other way to get some pics soon.
  10. for those pricks out there who think its funny to keep going on about me lying bout my supra can go fuck themselves if u think ur being funny or something- like i told u lot earlier ive lost my digi camera so i can't exactly magic the pics on can i! the car was originally on ebay bout a month ago but the guy ended the auction and i only got it from him by ringing him up- ive been trying to find the ebay pics but its not my history so u lot will have to wait a while. cheers to the people who actually want to try and help me.
  11. well i used adrian flux and its 1200 tpft but i said it was a single turbo conversion from a N/A, they never actually asked what turbo it was or how fast it was so i think ive just got possibly the best insurance deal in the world, by the way thats inc bodykit etc...
  12. sorry no pics, my cars at work. how reliable are pulsar gtR's?
  13. 5 speed manual, a few mechanics at my work took it out and the whole gearbox is unrepairable
  14. Drivin on A41, i take a gap in traffic at aylesbury roundabout, put foot down, revs go through the roof, naturally assume its popped outta gear, put into 2nd, put foot down, revs up no drive, into 3rd, same again.... you can see where this is going... at this point i'm rolling around roundabout and pull up on some road off it. the gear box is grinding in every gear and neutral. got car recovered this mornin and the gear box is officially fucked! i've had the car 3 weeks and so far the brake line has gone and now the gear box brakes! now at this point u all are probably thinkin take it back to dealer... except i didn't get it from a dealer i bought it off some guy in woking so theres no chance of guarantee or warranty. being 400bhp on a N/A converted supra i naturally thought this might have been upgraded but it turns out its a standard gearbox so i'm bit pissed off. annoyingly enough it was going to be taken down a tuners on wednesday to sort out a few bits and find out whats really under the bonnet but now this has happened theres no point. only being 21, finding the cash to sort this one out going to be a mission, anyone know how much a gear box is by any chance?
  15. no, my supras a sort of brown grey colour and was only imported a few months back. i will post photos as soon as i find my camera.
  16. i was told it was 400bhp and by driving it it feels about right so i'm getting it looked at by a tuning group to sort it all out as its just come from japan and i'm a bit unsure about what exactly is under the bonnet.
  17. i've been trying to figure that out but it just has a serial number i think printed on and no manufactors name but has a lot of surface rust so could have been worn off. again its running at around the 400bhp mark so for an original N/A its probably quite good for the gains i assume
  18. hi peoples, got new supra (originally N/A) with approx 400bhp single turbo conversion. problem is the turbo doesn't kick in til approx 4000rpm and just wondering if there is anything u can do to sort this out as its a bit frustrating. (has not been de-catted yet by the way) n e ideas?
  19. i just managed to by some goodridge stainless steel braided lines off ebay so hopefull they should arrive in the next week as long as paypal doesn't take weeks- i'l just have to drive my teg for a while
  20. i was just lucky i werent going fast at the time, and the fact i all the lights on the rounderbout were green- had to use the hand brake to stop in my driveway lol
  21. Help ME! Just took supra down road when warning light come on... everything seems fine... until i touch the break pedal..which hits the floor on first touch. luckly i was bout 500 yrds from my housed so i pulled in and checked my brakes. considering ive had the car 2 days i was bit concerned. checked rear pas side brake and the brake line has been rubbing on the fucking tyre and burnt through it pissing out brake fluid everywhere! now being a sunday n all nobody can do anything so i'm well screwed until i get a new one. anyone know any brake lines available quickly round watford area?
  22. the only thing i can say that is a bit annoying is the turbo kicks in at about 4000rpm and the rev limiter shuts off at 7 i think so in 1st gear u have about a split second to change up once the turbo kicks in- oh and its not de-catted ..yet. so by removing the cats will it componsate for the high fuel level intake on the ecu running rich?
  23. cheers for the help guys i appreciate it- the guy told me to run it on high octane so i hope he wasn't hinting anything...
  24. bloody hell guys. i'm well scared to drive it now lol. last thing i want is it to blow up, especially if i'm in it!
  25. private sale, but this guy imports quite a few cars. doesn't have a for-court or anything. if anything does go wrong he said he will be more than happy to sort me out. hopefully
