  1. Unreal mate, you aren't half being put through the ringer on this rollercoaster. I hope the uhming and ahing hasn't been detremental to your health in all this. Hopefully a good dose with the chemo will clear up the affected areas and you can get back on track with getting rid of it altogether.
  2. Welcome, what a story! So unlucky mate. I see you sorted out the avatar
  3. Stupid gamer tags are banned unfortunately. Change it to Bob and you'll be allowed right in
  4. In all honesty I'm with you, I just can't be bothered with the hassle for the sake of £20 not to mention buying from somewhere like John Lewis who I can actually go in and talk to lol. I'm not really paying for the warranty, I'm just paying an inflated price for the prodcut to get it from a shop rather than a potentially folding, unheard of internet based company
  5. The same chick that's in Jamesy's. Check out the ass thread
  6. Not quite yet, the ass thread is keeping me going
  7. I was actually accused of going soft

    New pc

Windows 7 is actually fine. I haven't reformatted my laptop in over 2 years and it's still as fresh as a daisy. Vista was shocking though, XP wasn't SO bad but with all the updates etc that microsoft kept flinging at it it tended to clog up for me. I got into the habit of reformatting with Windows 95. It ground to a halt virtually every month. IIRC it got even worse when I got broadband due to the rate I could choke it up at lol. I've never been a unix/linux user so I would be starting from scratch. I'm too old for all that nonsense.
  9. I've noticed that when I hit "subscriptions" or any thread I have recently visited that I get a snapshot of what it was like previously, ie without the recent updates. I then need to hit refresh to get the new updates and request a fresh copy of the forum information. Is this a new thing or is it something else causing it. At first I thought it was due to me accessing the net via my mobile but I noticed it doing it over the weekend from my laptop in the house (through cable). Anyone else noticing this?
  10. Desire-z would have been a better option for you, rather than your desire. There are better options out now though
  11. Nice to see I'm back on my game them
  12. I can't believe it's taken this long to get something like that up and running. I would have thought there would be commercial options available by now too. The benefits are huge, it means that when kids are playing these games they will actually be keeping fit.... something that is sorely lacking in the UK right now.
  13. It looks to me like the ball part unscrews from the part just under the ball (the big line around the knob). It will probably be tight depending how long it's been on.
  14. Chris a batch file to change the date to 2008 is very easy. Simply create a text file, call it 2008.bat and in the text put "Date 01/01/2008" (without the speech marks). Save it, then you can run it and check if your date has changed. Changing it back is a little more difficult as it would need a stored variable in order to pull back the actual time. So changing back to the current date would need to be manual really. A nice easy way to do this would be to create a file called "Current.bat" and put "Date" as the content then save it. When you double click on it a command prompt will come up asking you to input the date you wish to set it to. Job done.
  15. I can't even make a call on the signal strength I have though. Not sure what the max is when the signal is good. The icon that comes up is "H+" if that means anything. I'm on T-Mobile though, I think it's widely accepted that 3 is the fastest available at the moment.
  16. Not bad eh? That's using my phone as a wireless hotspot so that I can use my laptop. The signal here is crap too, would be interesting to see what it can really do
  17. I'm hitting 50KB/s on my phone with a 2bar signal strength
  18. Fiddling your "join date" to Dec 2010.... why do you ask?
