  1. contact ebay. http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/community/shill.html#eBay
  2. Spot on. However much you like them, you're going to regret it if you're upside down with the car on fire or in water.
  3. It appears to be a country comprised entirely of white mini-vans.
  4. Hey! You're only going for a week
  5. That's it. The FIA has gone one step too far this time!
  6. I'd say it's about the right price considering it includes a Leopard OS X licence which is worth about 100 quid.
  7. You've already blown it on the secrecy and confidentiality parts. I doubt he'd be interested now.
  8. I knew that link would be the Pikes Peak run....or Rick Astley
  9. The US printed a genuine trillion dollar bill... http://www.13amp.org/misc/trillion.jpg
  10. I got two tickets this morning for September, 4th row back in lower tier I think. It took two hours on the ticketmaster site to get them. I was tempted to get a couple of extra tickets and ebay them, but decided against it as it's not fair on the genuine fans (like me!) Can't wait!
  11. We're too busy humming that tune.

    couldn't resist... http://www.13amp.org/misc/halfords.jpg
  13. It's quite a find considering only 150 were made, and out of those most will still be in Lamborghinis or Mercedes Vitos.

    charity? scam

If a charity is run like a business, it might be worth paying a decent salary to a team capable of distributing the funds in the best way. Would you rather 100 percent of the money was scattered by helicopter over a large area, or 50 percent was handed to the neediest?
  15. Sentences should be: 120 mph on bike = 3 points 120 mph, in rain, kid on back = community service 150 mph, in fog, talking on mobile = 1 week prison 200 mph, on dirt track, baby in side-car = 6 months prison
  16. Err...no it wouldn't. It's one-way glass. You can see out from the inside!
  17. I quite like the 996 but I'm scared away by the running costs. Mind you there's a few bargain 996 Turbos on Pistonheads. How about stretching to one of those http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/889316.htm
  18. Did you mix up Fahrenheit and Centigrade?
  19. Here's mine: 1996 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 http://www.13amp.org/misc/history_corsa.jpg 1995 Toyota Celica 2.0 GT http://www.13amp.org/misc/history_celica.jpg 1994 Toyota Supra TT http://www.13amp.org/misc/history_supra.jpg 1991 Nissan 200SX S13 http://www.13amp.org/misc/history_200sx.jpg 1998 Lotus Elise S1 http://www.13amp.org/misc/history_s1elise.jpg 2005 Lotus Elise S2 111S http://www.13amp.org/misc/history_s2elise.jpg
  20. Maybe Dude could organise a group buy
  21. When I owned a Supra TT, I didn't understand the appeal of an NSX as they are a lot less powerful than my Supra was. I'm now on my second Elise since selling the Supra and have realised I'm a lot more bothered about having a light, good handling car than a powerful car. Not to take anything away from the Supra, which I had for 5 years, and absolutely loved. I plan on buying an NSX as my next car though.
  22. Was that question directed at me? If so, I don't use mine much. It's mainly so I can have a landline but not pay line rental. So I'm saving up to 120 quid/year.
  23. I bought a Linksys PAP2T VoIP adapter. http://www.broadbandbuyer.co.uk/Shop/MFR/ShopDetail.asp?ProductID=3508 It plugs into your router and gives you two phone sockets that you can plug a regular phone into. I use my cordless DECT phones with it. You then need an account with a SIP provider such as sipgate. I was also assigned a local geographic number, so people don't even know I'm on VoIP instead of a regular phone line.
