  1. Lovely colour, sad video. RIP Supra
  2. Ohh man thats funny, had me on the floor. Thats brightend my day cheers!
  3. Looks fantastic mate, that is one smart looking car.
  4. BlackCircles.com i found excellent recently.
  5. Thanks mate , this is now sorted getting my 1.2bar nice and steady now
  6. SUCESS!!! im chuffed. 1.2 bar, or any bar i like between 0.9 - 1.2(obviously). Thanks to everyone who helped me with this thread. The car now boosts great constant and agressive. Gain : 5 Manual Mode :66 = 1.2bar Manual Mode : 55 = 1.0bar OFF = 0.92bar Anyway it was settings ,after doing what you said and testing it with boost controller OFF i got the stock boost so piping was OK. Then i took it off Auto mode, and moved the value up from on manual mode. The boost became constant and really steady. I think AUTO mode is sh*t, it seems to try and learn the boost, which is no good if ur car over boosts!. Anyway im absolutely chuffed, so i couldnt resist this (see attached) .
  7. Yeh ill give it a go with switched to "OFF" see what happens, thanks for the input.
  8. Well i havent tried with it set to "OFF" , ill certainly drop the gain a little. Something to do with boost lag or something, im not quite sure why its got set at all.
  9. Well the gain level are set to 15 currently i believe and the boost map is all set to default, which is Speed and all the blue lines in the OFF section. When it was stock it was getting 0.84 bar boost, cats removed + 52mm RR + no boost controller, 0.94 and no boost issues at all. Boost controller plumbed in boost all over the shop......
  10. If i turn the Boost controller to off, i should get stock boost right? im very nervous about giving it the beans at the moment due to the over boost, im perplexed
  11. Hmm the bugger is, i definately have it connected up now exactly as you say, everything capped. But it still over boosts, infact it blew a boost pipe when testing, and ive just spent the last 2 hours putting it all back. Im having some really odd behavior, after i did the corrections outlined above the boost was hitting 1.2bar ~1.24 when i had the boost controller set to 1.0bar. Thing is it was spiking like crazy between 10 - 15psi on the boost gauge / controler. I then reset the boost controller to factory defaults, plumbed in my desired 1.0bar and then went out again. It hit only 0.84 for a few runs, then all of a sudden it over boosted to 1.4odd and promptly blew a hose! (offside middle joint, bottom of the hard pipe). Most annoying, im 100% sure i have it connected up as you say now. My boost controller is the Blitz IColor type r, and it was brand new (bought off a member but all packaged as new and not a mark on it, everything was sealed still) I have the wastegate type set to "AC" this is correct right? the other option is "WG", but from what i read in the blitz manual here it should be "AC" http://www.blitzperformancesales.com/techsupport/pdf/sbc_i-color.pdf
  12. in my understanding fan belt = auxilary belt timing belt = cam belt drive belt, is just a term for linking things together???

    help,

Hi, im probably going to get owned / thread deleted / mocked / tw*ted or all the above. I go to silverstone next Tuesday so id really like to get this sort. Im getting desperate hehe. Otherwise the car is perfect. In reference to my boost issues here, http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=182168 The car is now over boosting (before it would only do a little over stock boost @0.90bar, both CATS out,52mm RR) and i just need someone to confirm that my boost piping is correct ( pictured in the thread.) The way i see it is i was getting 0.9Bar because i wasnt controlling the AC, the stock setup was, as i still had the pipe from tubby #1 into the TOP port on the AC). The increase of boost (used to get 0.8 stock setup) was simply because the JSpec wastegate couldnt handle the extra gases. The OUT from the Blitz boost solenoid nows goes to the TOP port of the accuator valve (right next to tubby one and above alternator). The bottom of the AC is disconnected (NOT CAPPED), must it be capped? could this be my issue? Im sorry for doing this, as i know its been done to death, but id love to have my 1.2bar for the track Tuesday. Simon
  14. i just might take you up on that, of course id bring beer!
  15. Hi mate, near Stourbridge, hagley. Im just off the high street.
  16. With the above suggested, it over boosts (ive only just put my put half down and its up to 1.38 bar, i didnt even properly toe it)
  17. bump, Can anyone have a read through and confirm our thoughts? please
  18. The f*ck up ive made makes sense to how the car runs, as simply im not controling the actuator as ive still got the "feed" from the #1 turbo pressure outlet in thus opening the wastegate as normal. Maybe someone tomorrow will confirm this Hehe, Thanks for your help Scot, im pretty sure its is what you suggested, cheers
  19. Hehe 2nd turbo is spooling up ok, usual 4k kick. Thats the VSV in my picture ive disconnected, following this article http://mkiv.com/techarticles/blitz_dsbc/index.html Unfortunately, i didnt see " top of the wastegate actuator "
  20. Thank you!! I assume i cap the bit im tapped into now then, and tap the OUT into the top port as you said. Ive also got these disconnected. (New picture added)
  21. Ah....... that sucks........im not noticing any side affects just normal boost
  22. This is highly confusing i followed the guides on MKIV but unless im absolutely thick as pig shit* there not very clear really.
