  1. I love the bumper etc, but the bonnet is not for me, the lines / fit doesnt look great and i think it should be silver aswell. Is that a KR bonnet?
  2. Have you checked its not the classic dry joint issues? (i for one had that, along with many others. Im TT)
  3. happy bday, ill be your age in a few weeks.
  4. Nope no sound when just sitting there. Only if your rolling , either in or out of gear it makes the sound. Also you can hear it in the background when accelerating (if not to hard on the loud pedal to get the sound drowned out by engine)
  5. No sound, just a nice clean idle. (We also checked all exhaust piping incase it was blowing but its fine)
  6. Its just a noise, car drives fine, pulls well and gears go in easily. Noise has been getting louder over the last week or so. (Used to be only when in gear, now its both).
  7. Now that we havent checked, would it be to simply to give the drive shaft a pull and push / up and down? and look for movement?
  8. Renault Clio Sport 172 Cup phase2 52 plate, 80k
  9. They have suggested "Diff" failure is pending, so both garages have suggested fitting a new gear box , diff , and clutch. My question is why gear box, if its the diff? maybe its one unit? (Renault Clio Cup 172 Ph2) Expensive!!
  10. Well car drives absolutely fine, not problems getting in gear or any slip or antyhing like that. But possible........not quite what the garage came up with but related hehe!. (Guess the fault game!!)
  11. Hi all, Just quick request if anyones got time to check out my friends issue with his car, and might hazard a guess at what it is. http://s654.photobucket.com/albums/uu262/muld/?action=view&current=Movie.flv The best sound of the issue is just before the end of the video. The sound comes from the passenger side, lower foot well. An issue has been suggested by two local garages (but they have only heard / driven it. If anyone comes up with it, it will confirm what they are saying. It happens, both in gear and out and sound changes with speed! (We have elliminated wheel bearings, anything catching and have a good look around underneath and cant see anything obvious.) Cheers, Simon
  12. Sorry i should of subscribed to this thread!!, if its not to late put me down with + 1 (if others are).
  13. Hehe rather like i did! lol, he should check out the thread we had discussing it. Hehe
  14. 52mm RR = 1.2bar (BPU). Im using a Blitz Nur Spec RX, which is just over 3.1 inche pipe work, so you maybe need to reduce this a couple of mm. Id go for about 50mm then widen IF needed, its really trial and error mate. However you can just raise your boost on your controller if your RR is too small. Si
  15. Do you have a restrictor ring installed? are the CATS out 1st and 2nd?. A boost controller cannot lower boost, only raise it. There must be some restriction (i.e Cats or RR) to keep it down as the waste gate cant handle it, atleast in the JSpecs. Have you tried it with the Boost controller OFF? what boost do you get?
  16. Some thosed posted women are right goofy a*s b*tc*es lol
  17. 1.2bar = 52mm diameter restrictor ring......might be worth checking the size of it. My car pulled 0.94 bar with a 1.2bar RR (double decatted), i had to raise the boost via boost controller. Definately check ur RR size as it maybe way to small, where did you get it from? Si
  18. This looking amazing, subscribed! cant wait to see the finished machine.
  19. So not even Defi's read right, so whats the point in the large price tag for these......
