Before everyone thinks ive gone totally bananas opening a company in the middle of a recession I haven't, let me explain.
After seeing different companies struggle with payments and invoices and after being layed off twice in 7 months I was banging my head against a brick wall so I jumped on the "train to gain" bandwagon, set up my own training center and now can provide free NVQ's to people in certain sectors. As some of you know I come from a security background and am a licenced trainer/assessor in all forms of security including close protection,
because I am now registered with Edexcell and City & Guilds I have been lucky enough to be able to claim government funding for this, so without touting for business;);) I am able to provide NVQ level 2 certification in Customer Care, Spectator and Event Security, and Providing Security Services, these are all work based qualifications so basically if you have 6 or more people who would like a FREE NVQ (always looks good on the company portfolio) then we would come down to the place of work, assess the candidate (after signing them up) give them a few work related tasks etc and voila NVQ in the post in 6 weeks at no cost to the company or person doing it, I claim the funding back from the government, everyone is happy, so whilst im just starting if anyone does have a small/medium/large company (or works for one) who thinks they could benefit from this (customer care NVQ is universal) then please let me know, one thing I will say if i get any work from the club then I will donate 10% of the funding to a charity of the clubs choosing (and you can hold me to that:))
