I had a 350 drop-top for a couple of years... nice car and would suggest better than an N/A unless you want the iconic look. Watch out for paint depth- shocking and very poor, always problems with the CD sticking Forget trying to mod and get any real HP - breathing is the only way and only for a small amount, although I liked the D1 (?) throttle controller I had (still have it I think) which made it more responsive

Yes this... The 350z is a good car - I had the drop-top and loved it If you have had a BPU supra you will be disappointed after a while with the top end power - but tbh the acceleration is the same as an N/A. Handling is brilliant and sticks well - not twitchy at all. After all - it is a new car! Mods to engine not worth it - bit of breathing adds a touch HP - the internals cant take much else. The Nissan paintwork is rubbish - so check for lacquer peel Have a look on the 350z forum for anything else to look out for
