  1. Fluid was changed after the initial install of the motor? how can air be getting into the system so bad as i cannot see any fluid leaks?
  2. Thanks for the reply guys,One thing is i have used my n/a pump for the conversion which was working ok prior to this and just bought the union and o ring for a tt, res was purchased s/h but was cleaned out well before re using and ive blown through it and seems ok, there seems somehow to be pressure coming from somewhere because when the car is started with the cap off the fluid is gushing out of the top of the res and i mean gushing???? another thing is, even with the res topped up the pump still is rumbling which i thought would go, i started earlier for about 15 seconds with the cap on and when i took it off the fluid looked like a bottle of coke which had been shaken for 5 mins...
  3. I managed to get the engine started this weekend after months of rebuild, anyhow yesterday after about ten minutes of running ok the Power steering pump started making like a rumbling sound so i knocked off the engine and the Fluid was frothing quite badly, toped it up to the correct level again and tried locking the steering over a few of times to relieve any air that may have got in the system and i find i cannot get rid of the air bubbles,if i start the engine and everytime pump rumbles like mad, fluid frothes and gushes out of the res?????? tried bleeding them several times but the same happens and pump never stops rumbling with engine on, i am using dextron 2 fluid as it is recommended for the system, i have changed the o ring on the pump input which i feel confident arn't leaking and made sure piping is ok which it is. any help would be appreciative starting to think pump is gone???[sAD][/sAD] FYI the steering feels ok and is not notchy or anything like that?

  7. I thought the stock uk scoop were made from moulded resin?
  8. just wondered if anyone has got it yet ? i downloaded the demo at 1.2gb, and it took me about 10 attempts to beat it on medium army, so different to generals imo love the water graphics too!
  9. hi mate, its prety much same as the g/box.you do need ramps. theres a drop plug to drain (round hex type plug).refill from same type plug mounted on side, its quite tricky to refill when diff is in situ though as theres very little room to get the oil in,i always drop it down as its easier to lower the whole diff on a trolley jack, for this you will need to un bolt prop tho, try to make sure when you fill the diff its as much horizontal as poss, refill till the oil trickles out the side wher you are filling from.
  10. hi, i have seen them on ebay including the belt for about £40 i think andy
  11. has anyone got a Viscous Fan for man or auto tt,i think they are the same... andy
  12. Hi mate, get a co2 marker without a doubt, much cheaper to use for your budget, the gains from co2 to Air is very noticible with power and accuracy but if you get a good electronic marker its just as good. i use a bumped up spyder imagine electronic marker with elec hopper and its rapid, done all upgrades and on full auto can get aprox 13balls/sec although it is prone to bursting balls of long periods of auto, it also has settings for 3 burst/slow and rapid which is fun, definately look as tipperman or spyder,i prefer spyder as there is more upgrades and barrels available IMHO.
  13. Quality edge, when i first started sidebanding a friend and i used to cqdx a few times then run to the window and look for white vans.........after a month id worn out my slippers.hehe:search:
  14. Sorry rob missed that one! yes buddy after all decided to leave it Off completely,Ive not removed the actual butterfly in the throttle body but it will not function, probably better off from what i hear anyway...should i say that or is it tempting fate?
  15. Thanx guys She still needs a little bit of work, need to look out for a different intercooler pipe that goes over the stock airbox as the one i have is very tight and will not fit,Need to plumb in oil cooler hoses etc and i can get the motor started.Im sure the wait will be worth it. Will be Interesting to see the power increase too?
  16. Heres some pics that i took earlier of a project i started over 4 months ago, full conversion from n/a to Bpu tt. Not totally finished but hope to get her back laying some rubber in the not too distant future.Cant wait to feel the difference as ive totally swapped all shocks, brakes,Lsd,bushes etc should be just in time for the good weather but i must admit its taken a little bit longer than expected as the underneath looks as clean as the top now cause i get a little carried away like that.
  17. I too had quite a few different ones, still have my cobra 148 sidebander somewhere but no 60ft high antenna strapped to our concrete washing line post.....lol,made quite a few contacts abroad over the years sidebanding but got paranoid of the dti catching me.......hmmmm
  18. still looking if anyone has one spare?
  19. has anyone got one available? cheers andy
  20. flashed silver supra today coming from hull i was in a blue ren traffic van see me.......?
  21. yeah i was trying to steer clear of that for that reason,i may try getting a blue hose with a 135 degree bend in first as it may help but not sure?
  22. hi, pic is of supra piping just the right hand side is wrong way around or wrong way up whichever way you look at it, cheers mikey i thought of that but didnt really wanna do that but its certainly an option,i was thinking of another 135 degree bend where it comes from the inner wing,id just have to cut the top pipe though......hmmm
  23. Just wondering if ayone had any issues with installing the fmic with these alloy pipes,i would like to use the stock airbox but there is not enough clearance to get across and down in the inner wing area(its as if the airbox need to go forward 1" or so) .does the top pipe need to be cut as i didnt want to loose the flared ends nor the stock airbox, any ideas would be helpfull! andy they have the right hand pipes the wrong way around but the airbox side is very similar to mine to give you an idea!
