  14. to be very honest mate i thought all n/a's had the open diff, i have an n/a diff like the one shown in the picture and its definately an open diff, where as the tt ran the lsd which has exactly the same fixings appart from you will need the drivers side bush in the subframe, its a bit bigger but its really only at the back as it has fins for cooling. someone may be able to proove me wrong on here but i do think n/a is open diff. andy

  21. hi rob, thanks for the reply, just checking its the same unit i have posted a pic i found of an auto one in terribleturners for sale section ,dont know if it matters but would prefer manual anyhow. please let me know andy
  22. Does anyone out there have a throttle control unit for a manual tt going reasonable please. cheers andy
  23. if you dont mind ill start the bids at 70 quid
  24. hi mate, the best way around it i think if you have a manual is put it in 1st gear and put handbrake on and it should come loose quite easy, youll definately need a puller to get it off as its held in by a key,it will only go back on in one position to allign with the key so you cant get it wrong, just make sure you allign the marks on the pulley to the marks on the casing (check the 1st piston is at firing stroke) else it can be 180 out on the pulley and remove it. youll have to put it neutral after cause you dont want it to move the crank, the best way really is lock up the flywheel on the gearbox side that way it definately wont move,if youve got an auto box its gonna be a pain in the ass.
