Dont know how many people struggle to get the v160 gearbox oil as toyota do not sell this anymore.i manged to locate 4 litres myself and the only place that toyota are aware of which has 2 litres in stock is octagon motor company tel,01344 789888 part number 08885-01306 hope its usefull to someone. andy
  2. anyone got a spare bonnet release cable which connects to the latch,it is a small cable around 7" long, broke mine today!dohh

I think it was a design issue, the older rounder design was prone to taking heat and causing the internals to go brittle,On some aristos and supras they changed them to a higher design with a different angle on the bottom.i took my passenger side one off (rounder)and it was clunking because of the same reason.another set i have dont say trd on them but look exactly the same but as i understand are stock ones.
  8. If an open cheque book is what you have go for 4 like the Bugatti as 3 has already been done on a supra with a sequential setup!
  9. good job mate,know what you mean mine has been down since november,hopefully engine will go in tomorrow weather permitting. sometimes it can turn into more of a restoration job when you diy it..

  11. Hijack..sorry saw your pics on here lui,nice catch with the fish,my common was 33Lb caught in france last year,small world mate like flying also, do fly for a local club got a few planes myself including my main 72" cap 232 which is a dream for the aerobatics. keep up the good work buddy!

  17. does anyone know if the tt vvti radiator is the same as a pre vvti rad.?
  18. I paid 600 quid for mine and believe me i was over the moon, just to find one these days is quite a test on its own let alone finding one for a steal price!

  21. normally when that happens it means there is a communication problems between transmitter and receiver,sometimes happens on my planes when using different handsets,the best way to learn how to fly is download realflight g2/g3 and see how you improve after a hour or 2,its definately a good learning curve.
  22. tell me about it,he said the conversion was done by a firm in the states and they are doing some work on the ecu side.
  23. just to say that a friend in the states sent me pics (sorry there not fantastic) of a bmw m5 v10 with sequential twins setup,just that its all done from the rear of the car and in the boot? check em out... andy
