Those pictures have upset me again...!! The one that got away eh..... H.

I will always remember after our Gen 7 Celica got knicked I had a huge security post fitted in the middle of our drive. We got a brand new Celica courtesy of the insurance and after a few weeks of having the car and keeping it safe, I decided to go out for a spin. Got to the car with the keys and noticed the security post was locked in positon keeping the car nice and secure. I groaned as I didn't have the keys to the post as we kept them in a separate place to the car keys.... Went inside the house and got the post keys from our bedroom and went back to the car. Got in the car and reversed into the security post...... It is as if I had mentally dealt with the post issue by going getting the keys and then forgot about the important bit...... Anyway, I think I am pretty special...!! H.

That's a big statement...... I can't imagine having the same car for that amount of time. You have to try some avarage ones at some point.... H.

There are also markers on the wings so I would imagine it's had a front ender?? H.

The cheap VVti tiptronic has 180K on the clock and they don't know when it was converted....... H.

I looked a couple of months ago (just to cheer myself up...) I didn't think that you deleted them mate. I imagine that old sale threads from 2008 would have been one of the first things to go in a forum clearout.... H.

I picked mine up form a local lock and key specialist for £5. If you don't have an alarm and need the original key then you may get bummed by Toyota..... I had an alarm for the CL so just picked up a bog standard to key to use in the ignition.... H.

I'll ring them tomorrow. I wouldn't expect one Sp30 to make a difference tbh. H.

You'll have to fight me for it.... I am gutted that the new owner has not been in contact with the club. Looking back I should have offered more money but i was lied to and told that Tron20 had offered 20k when he'd only offered 18K. My offer of 17K cash was accepted 24 hours before..... I am not bitter though. The best condition, low mileage car to ever grace this forum is now in the hands of someone who doesn't want to be involved in the club and will probably try to sell it for £25k when it re-surfaces. Even though I could buy the car easily, I am not sure if I would give the guy the pleasure. H.

Sorry Graham, I imagine we'll be leaving early to get to Jurgens about lunch time. It's got to be a 2 hour drive at least from ours.... Take the morning off and I'll buy you a bacon butty..!! H.
