  1. OK bit of an update to this I fitted a new catback exhaust as my old one was fecked looked like someone had attacked it with an axe! Anyway it's not had any real affect on the boost pressure so still not hitting above stock levels and I'm a bit stuck as to what to do now. Anyone got any suggestions as to what may be stopping me from achiving higher boost levels. It's really bloody annoying me now
  2. Click on the links under manual mode and overdrive and all will be revealed. Congrats on your purchase!
  3. Is anyone running an XS Power exhaust on a BPU'd Supra, if so does it reach 1.2 bar on full boost?
  4. Probably not the safest thing to post....
  5. Sweet! Active is where it's at
  6. You can pick them up relativly cheaply as a lot of people remove them when they fit an aftermarket bumper or an fmic as you can't retract it due to lack of room. You can have it with an fmic fitted but in the permanantly deployed poisition like Guigsy's stunning looking Supra. I've seen active spoilers going for around the £100 mark on the for sale forum.
  7. Plus if it's setup like mine with the manual control mod you have the added handiness of being able to retract it for any speed bumps etc so you avoid ripping it off. How many "i've cracked my front bumper" theads do we get each year.
  8. Stock bumper + active spoiler is the best look. Don't know how anyone could look at that and think the Veilside one looks better
  9. Just 5 miles from me, would love to go along and have a shufty.
  10. Fair game but what I kind of meant is say you sold your car for 7k (i have no idea of spec so don't be offended) then bought one of the above for 5k you may well find yourself spending 1k on getting it up to shape on things like suspension, tires, brakes, service, tax, insurance etc etc If it was me and I had to sell for financial reasons I would go all the way and forget high powered, high running costs cars for a bit and go down the reliable cheap runner route and then once the debts were cleared and wedding was out the way get back in the market for a mint TT.
  11. Your said you wanted rid of the TT to save a bit of cash so I don't really see much point in buying one of the cars listed above. If you buy an N/A or an MR2 turbo etc you're not going to save much money on fuel or insurance over keeping the TT. Also it'd be about 10 yearold car you'd be buying so there's always going to be something needing done on it - suspension/brakes/cambelt service etc etc. At least you know where you stand with yours it's got a good engine and uk turbo's fitted by a company that knows Supra's. If you are going to sell your TT to save money and the car is going to be a daily driver, dare I say it you'd be better looking at something like a TDi Golf or an Audi etc something Reliable and cheap to run. Just my 2p's worth!

    Oh dear...

To be honest I think it's something the Supra could do with as it can often be a bit dark and depressing on the inside.

  14. Check it's got all the screws in it, mine was missing two of them. Would also say it's worth getting them from Mr T to make sure they are the proper fit.
  15. What an absolute goon! From looking at the pics, angle of his car and where he's damaged yours I can't see how he'll get away with it. Mind you he does look like he's an extra from The Hills Have Eyes http://www.sh-designs.biz/crash/1.jpg
  16. Go for hiro's like mine: http://www.jwwebdev.co.uk/Supra/Respray/10.jpg
  17. Thanks mate, panel looks ok didn't scrape it too hard. The white in the pics is the paint from the garage. Had a good shufty at it, it got some decent scratches on it and as you can see from the pics some paint and grit from the wall but panel looks fine.
  18. Yeah a decent bloke to deal with even though he never replied to my last PM:tongue:
  19. Should probably have mentioned the silver lining which is that the boot rubbers worked!! There would have been a Micheal Douglas esque Falling Down moment if they hadn't.
  20. That's how I'm describing myself tonight. Wasn't paying attention properly and scraped the Supra when reversing out the garage Still can't believe I did it, so fecking annoyed at myself. Made a nice mess of the passenger side of the bumper/wing. Whats annoyed me more is that 1.It just had a full respray in October and 2. I bought it accident damaged just over a year ago and have been working hard on it and spending a bit on it to get it the way I want. In the last month I've put in a lot of time grafting to get the final things done including SuperStreets, BPU, New radiator, cambellt service, fan belt, oil filter, fuel filter, active spoiler and new stereo. And I was totally delighted with the results, it's like a new car. Now for the ironic bit, I had just finished the final job which was changing the boot rubbers to get rid of the annoying rattle. This was the cause of my "accident" as the car always creaked when reversing out the garage so I was listening out for it and scraped the side whilst not paying attention to the angle of the car Anyways I've uploaded a couple of pics of the damage sorry for the quality but nighttime + camera phone + black car = mince pics. Anyone got any tips for trying repair the scratches as much as possible? I'm away to smack my head against a brick wall
  21. If you do go for this one I can vouch for the quality of the sellers items. I got a set of OEM side skirts from him and the fit was amazing.
  22. Jezz have you got a passenger side lower wheel arch liner? (the smaller one of the 2)
  23. Definitely not the cigarette lighter fuse? Mine went on Sunday after installing a new stereo and it knocks out the clock and heater controls (and the cigarette lighter obviously)
  24. Whatever the affects I wouldn't imagine it'd be any worse than having an aftermarket front on a Supra.
