  1. The electric aerial has never worked in my sup since I got it, I though maybe the motor had packed in. I managed to get hold of a working aerial and connected it up today but still nothing. Is there a fuse that it runs off that I can check? Cheers! Edit: I meant to say electric in the title
  2. To be fair if you ripped of the veildside monstrosity and burned it and replace the wheels with something semi decent you'd probably add £3k's worth to the car
  3. Nice one! It's a good feeling when that 2nd turbo kicks in! Good of you to post back what the problem was. That's one of my pet peeves on the tech forum is when people look for advice and post a fairly loose description of the problem, then get some very helpful answers from members which take a long time to write up and post and then don't even have the common courtesy to post back saying thanks or to say if it helped solve the problem. It's just good manners as people have gone out there way to help. I know if it wasn't for that search button and the knowledgeable people on here then I wouldn't have as good a car as I have got at the moment and I'd certainly have a few less pounds in the bank account.
  4. Quality, I like that. Can you get it to say "Danger to manifold!" then tell it to shut up just before the floor falls off your car
  5. I find it hard to look past a DB9 http://img.worldcarfans.com/US/2007/9/7/9070907.006/9070907.006.1M.jpg
  6. Now I've looked I'm so tempted to buy a set of rear lights Damn you Nic
  7. Oooft that's got the potential to be an absolute monster.
  8. Hmmm is that view tainted by what's listed in your signature? I must also concur however that facelift lights do look superb!
  9. I wonder if it's to do with the elovated driver postion (like 4X4's and the good old white van drivers). My mate drives a land rover and I hate being in the thing with him driving. He's not overly aggressive but NEVER indicates and cuts lanes a hell of a lot just cos he's in a 4x4. It's probably a combination of the two with People Carrier drivers, the elevated driving position making them think they're king of the road and the fact that they've had to grudgingly sell their Golf GTI / Focus ST/ Astra VXR to get the rugrat carrier.
  10. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed an alarming increase in the number of utter cocks driving people carriers? Spent the last few days racking up a fair few miles in both the diesel Pug 106 and the Supra and found myself getting fucking annoyed at them. In the pug it was mainly motorway miles and on 4 separate occasions looked in my rear mirror to see a people carrier right up my cars ass at 70 mph when it's pissing down with rain. One of them then proceeded to undertake 3 cars and was weaving in and out of traffic on a soaking wet day. Then in the Supra twice I got a couple of cocks trying to race me one in Vauxhall Zafira VXR with wife and kids in tow. Looked like his Mrs was giving him an ear bending though Anyone else noticed this with people carrier drivers?
  11. Another year older, does that mean he'll be even more sarcastic and pessimistic? Happy birthday Michael, have a good one!
  12. Yeah, got the same one on my car. Decent exhaust for the money and comes with a double decat pipe.
  13. Also an active spoiler unit in there.
  14. The Nissan 350's and Mazda RX8's have fairly plummeted in price.

5:15 you can hear the Supra's mincey faggot horn in action
  16. Sounds like that might have been a messy one! I was over for my brothers wedding so was a fairly relaxed and chilled out holiday. Don't know about you but in that weather with those roads I'd have given anything to blast round the island in the Supra. Would need to sort out my aircon though
  17. I think I saw the same one when I was there last week driving past Nissi Beach. Don't think the g/f was too pleased she was talking away about something (as usual) and I cut her off abruptly shouting "Supra!!! Supra!!! Supra!!!"
  18. I think their price often depends if they can tie it up with transporting a car back. I got my Supra trailered from Plymouth to Scotland for £355 as the guy had another pickup in Edinburgh to take down south. That was through carlogix: http://www.carlogix.co.uk/
  19. Hi miko, I noticed you posted on my thread that you were having similar problems: http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=139860 I've not done anything with it yet just been enjoying my 1 bar of boost. When you ran it without the RR and boost controller were you still not getting anywhere 1.2 bar? I think I need to get myself a boost controller and give it a bash.
  20. Mine is only boosting up to a 1 bar, need to get myself a boost controller I reckon
  21. I know he's very much appreciated on these forums but that is high praise indeed
  22. National are bloody useless take it to an independent tyre place and they'll get it sorted in 10 minutes. To be honest unless you're using the wrong sized socket you'd struggle to round the head. Get down to halfords and get one of these: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_210623_langId_-1_categoryId_31341
  23. Oooh same as mine (well almost mine are Dare Hiro's), good choice! Any excuse for a wee piccy http://www.jwwebdev.co.uk/Supra/Respray/10.jpg http://www.jwwebdev.co.uk/Supra/Respray/1.jpg
