ive had an invite to a school reunion as this year is the 10th year me and my fellow students parted. im in two minds whether to go or not as the way i see it is all the people who were important to me im still in touch with and the others....well they dont really matter to me. with me being bit of a geek back in school i was turned down by my fair share of the (then) fit girls each class has. ive spotted a few since and theyve seemed to have turned into monsters where as i, even if i say so myself, have changed for the better and lost my geekiness and done pretty well for myself since. which will come in handy as i have the impression school reunions are all about how well youve turned out etc. i did read an article in a magazine the other day of a woman who regretted going to her school reunion as all her memories of those years were tarnished when she saw how certain people had turned out. has anyone attended a school reunion and what were/are your thoughts on them?

bumped into an old school friend a few months back and we got chatting and he said i must be doing well to be driving a car that must be atleast £20k! i just shrugged my shoulders and said yeah guess so. little did he know that his fiesta most probably cost more:D

i understand the estimate bit as i had that with my electricity bills a few months back but surely it would say on their system that i dont even have a gas supply?

had a gas connection (the pipe work etc) installed into the house about 6 months ago but never actually got a live gas supply as i was renovating the whole house and didnt need gas and still wont for another few weeks. so a few days ago my bill came through from swalec for my electricity which is all fine but also in the envelope was a gas bill for £185!!! so i phoned them up and asked how this was possible as i havnt even got gas yet and the dude the other end said its an estimate. how can they estimate my gas use when i dont even have gas?!?! so the guys starts to realise i dont have gas and said they can waive that bill which will only leave me with a £25 service charge for the gas. i asked whats the service charge for and he said the gas supply! at this point i swore a wee bit at him as i really was losing my patience as i pointed out again that i dont have a f***ing gas supply! 20minutes later and 3 transfers i finally talk to someone who saw sense (or so i thought) and agreed i shouldnt pay a service charge but was told to inform them when my gas gets connected. so thats me informing my gas supplier that they are providing me with gas! god give me strength!!

are really starting to wear me out! this is my 12th week doing them and im just constantly shattered and struggle to sleep in the day. i havnt long got back from a 2 hours sleep in my car which hasnt helped much as im still pooped. i travel up here on a sunday afternoon and go straight into the nightshifts that evening through until friday morning then go home for the weekend but its not as if i have days off as they are then spent sleeeping. only another 2 weeks to go after this one and then i get 4weeks off which il most probably spend sleeping. how do other people cope working nights and trying to sleep in the day?
